Bhairasagara lake

A scenic water body near Gudibanda Fort. Sunrise and sunsets are amazing here. A two hour drive from Bengaluru. The road is a bit narrow ok the perimeter so park somewhere safe if visiting this place. Water levels are good. At times during the rainy season it overflows onto the road. A quick stop for some amazing pics. Nice place for a halt with a view and cool breeze refreshing the body and soul from within. Happy Travels.

Bhairasagara lake was mesmerisingly beautiful and serene. The place is not crowded .
It makes for a great picnic spot.

Huge clean lake located near Gudibande fort. The place is almost always empty, it has 2-3 places from where you can go near the shore and take pictures.
Bathing not recommended.

This place is very calm. But too hot when we went due to Summer and there is one Shiva Temple attached to.it

Great place, out of Bangalore city means less crowded or no crowded, best for picnics and spend some lone time between mountains surrounding a man made lake.

A beautiful place , serene atmosphere. Can come for a early morning picnic. Sitting beyond the shiva temple . A 5 minute walk from the road through a narrow lane.

A very peaceful place. No crowd no disturbance. You can feel the beauty of nature. This is around 90kms away from Bangalore. If it's not sunny then you can enjoy more here.

Don't miss the photo opportunity. Got this as a surprise package while on a temple trip with the family. Lake was full of water due to recent incessant rains, fell in love at the first sight

Near gudibande fort. This is a huge lake by the side of the road and one can enjoy the beauty while driving through. A great place to watch the sunset too

Road is narrow, u can't park your 4 wheeler, but there is a wide bridge in the beginning where vehicle can be parked and view can be enjoyed.

Its an awsome place, just 90 km from bangalore for bikers superb

Excelent water Reservoir increasing water bed quality. Always water throughout year. Very Good area for sun set scenes and good for short picnic on roadway
