But if you go on Sunday you'll feel bit crowded.

Lovely picnic spot. Quite away from the locality. Good for kids also but you may face some awkward situation in this park. Some couples misusing this place. If you come here with your family enjoy with them, don't go or look here and there. You might don't like the scene. Otherwise great ambiance,large place, King's house totally awesome and refreshing place

A hidden gems near Medinipur Town, a forest within a city, Maintained by WBSFDA. entry rs 10/-, cottages rs 500/-non ac,rs 1000/-ac, currently closed for renovation. Very popular among locals for picnics. love birds for day outings! Picnic sheds are also available at nominal charge, extraordinary property with huge potential but with a very poor maintenance, shortage of staff, along with Government like lackadaisical Attitude!

Good picnic spot during winters. They have special places for picnic. The place is neat and clean. You will love it. Specially the flowers are beautiful. Must check out the garden. There are also cottages which can be booked online.nothing is better than spending some time in nature and this place is perfect for that.

It is situated around a Ruins of Gopegarh Fort (protected by Govt). A natural forest around it, Beautifully decorated flower gardens, children play ground, orchid garden and place for stay available. Mostly famous as picnic spot. Many picnic shades available is various part of the park in open and also in side the forest zone. Utensils and gas can be rented also if the picnic spot is priory booked. Hall for conducting small birthday party and events also available. Entry fee and vehicle entry fess are applicable. No restaurant at this place, except few tea shops.
Over all a nice place for picnic, hangout for friends and family.

Nice place to visit December and January. Different picnic spot is available which needed to prebooked during the peak season. The rose garden is beautiful here. Collection of different varieties of roses. Inside the whole area cashew tree garden is there also. Govt guest house is also available and it will be a nice stay for 1 or 2 days

Adventurous place full of joy besides that it's a historical park and a ecological park too. You can also have a experience of tiny hill climbing 😅. A park to sit back and relax. Suitable for everyone. It's a picnic spot also. A place surrounded by trees far from the main city. I am quite sure no one can help himself but love this place on a single visit. Here is much more I can't explore it on a single visit.

We were visiting this park from our teenage age. We used to come for picnic here. The area is huge and it's covered with trees. A peaceful place to have an outing during weekend. We were once stuck inside the park during a rainy day and it was a truly cherished memory. Kids love the park as they get ample space to run around. Now, we visited this park with our kids. It has changed a lot but still kept its charm intact.They have maintained it really well. Lot of new trees were planted.New garden area and sitting area were created. During winter, it's really a charming place to visit with kids in the afternoon.

Good place for picnic spot

One of the best Eco Park in West Bengal. You can never imagine what a beautiful place is it.
5 years later, now it's more decorated but indisciplined. Cars and bikes are entering inside the park which is very much irritating. Monuments are not maintained and destroying. Sorry to see the calousness of authority.

good place for picnic, normal travel, there you can get foods (some temporary food shops , you can get there omlet, ghugni, tea, water, cold drinks etc.. and oh; of course lunch like rice, or roti with veg, non-veg..., good teste...)... there are 2 well facilitate room for stay is available, one is "pothik" and "priya". public toilet , drinking water available and no charge... overall good feelings for a nature lover. rose garden, Medini Raja's house... not bad!

It's an awesome place, just for peace you can wait here, JungulMahal always attracts us.. ❤

It is beautiful eco friendly place. The nature place with you read it's all. Red laterite soil akashmoni tree amidst of locality and town you feel mother nature feed you like a baby kids wear pollution free and oxygen reached air like mother's milk.

Yesterday on 18.06.22 we visited. I personally love this place. You've to buy tickets and then do entry. A lot of trees, tiny hilly area, a pond, restroom, little snack shops are there. Very calm place which gives you a solitary vibe.
