My friend, who was also a visitor at Maryland Homestay, recommended the place to me. Thanks to my friend, I choose to stay in this place and was at ease during my week in Mizoram. Mr. Harold was one of the nicest host I have ever experienced. So helpful and always available. The only thing that could be improved is the frequent cleanliness that would be required for a long stay, although the rooms were perfect when we arrived. However, that is something minor that I believe can be addressed. Thank you for your assistance; we would like to return.

Situated at a prime location close to the market and important venues. A homely stay with common area, kitchen and a great view. The host are very welcoming and friendly.

The view from the Homestay is spectacular and it’s the best homestay in Aizawl. Price wise it is Very reasonable. The owner is friendly, helpful, and he knows everything about the city.

Everytime I visit Mizoram, I have stayed in Maryland homestay and have always come back with a wonderful experience. The food, hospitality and view from this place is exquisite. And ofcourse the hosts are amazing themselves.

Best hospitality till date.

We were suppose to check-in at night 12:00am, although no homestay allow checking this late .
Due to some road blockade we were stuck for more than 3 hours, so we reached homestay at around 4:00am in the morning, it was raining heavily outside, in such a beautiful weather to sleep Our host Mr. Mama stayed awake till 4:00 am in the morning.

I cannot describe my gratitude towards him, he is such a nice person with great personality.

We were total 7 people to stay here, we booked 2 rooms namely Adela and Harold, both the rooms are located in the ground floor. Both the room will give you the best view of the city.

Everyone knows Maryland homestay in Aizawl, i think this is possible only because of their hospitality they provide to guest.

As we were about to check-out in Sunday afternoon, all the shops, resturant and everything is closed here. Our Host Mr. Mama provided us compliment breakfast, it is such a nice gesture of kindness towards guest.
This action of hospitality really made me feel that I am at the right place.

My advice to all the the travellers are that, you can blindly book this place whenever you plan to visit Aizawl.

Excellent accommodation with a great view from the balcony. The owner is very helpful and responsive, helping to arrange everything I needed, from taxis to laundry... The room is cosy. And the kitchen facilities are sufficient to cook meals. (A water dispenser / filter would be a great addition.) I would definitely stay again.

Really pleasant, clean room and great location with a beautiful view of the city from the balcony. We get to stay in the best room with beautiful morning view. The staff and owner was great and always welcoming. The common kitchen makes it more interesting which is why we chose to stay with them. Didn't get to try their food though as we get to cook for ourselves most of our stay, will definitely try next time. The essential mart just below, makes it very convenient for necessity requirements. We had a wonderful stay here, a home away from home!!!

Maryland homestay is located in a convenient location - close to Chanmari and Zarkawt, the main centers of Aizawl.
Stayed here 4 nights. The room was cozy and the bathroom was spacious with a geyser. We found it very easy to get a 2-wheeler taxi from here.
This place has a well equipped kitchen and we cooked most of our meals here since there is no only veg restaurant in Aizawl(yet). Our morning ritual was to enjoy our home cooked breakfast from the balcony which promises great views of the city.
The best part was meeting Sam (Host) who was extremely helpful in providing us the information needed to plan a trip to Mizoram.
Overall this place is a great value for money and is highly recommended.

friendly staff, great view and clean room. It has its own mini mart at ground level so quiet convenient to buy things. Desk service is good however it can be improved.

Anyone visiting Aizawl needs to stay here because of the city view. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the owner is always ready to help . I had a great stay. Thanks Samuel 🙏

Excellent homestay in Aizawl ! Pure definition of hospitality . Mamma and his family went of their way to help us during our visit .Rooms were great , food was amazing they treat you to local homestyle meals which gives you an insight into local cuisine . Internet connection is great . The supermarket below is great option if you want to pick up some necessity items .Rhe living room is a common area we had a good time meeting other in house guest and exchanging stories and other interests ! Keep it up and can’t wait to return back again

The only positive about this homestay is the breathtaking views from the balcony and the adjacent rooms. Service is really very pathetic. It's located in Vaivakawn and and mind it it's a West facing Homestay so you won't be able to enjoy a morning sunrise. Rooms are quite good, neat and clean. Room rates starting 2500 per night including breakfast.

Naktuk and homestay is like a home away from home. Warm and cozy with a beautiful view of the city from the balcony. The food is great, the place is clean and beautifully set up. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice get away.
