Lakmachara is basically a fountain trail connected with india...The area is the last border line of Bangladesh....The beauty of local and exotic stone traders is freely and unplanned due to the lifting of stone today. Even then, the beauty of which is not low in emotions...Had a great time here with family....

Natural Beauty 😍

Lakmachora is very close to Takerghat in Sunamganj. Motorbikes can be arranged to explore the area. From Takerghat, you can take a bike to Lakmachara in just five minutes.

A place surrounded by water bodies and hills like Jaflong and Bichanakandi. But as not many tourists have gone here yet, the atmosphere is quite serene.

However, there is always a traffic of workers collecting limestone and coal here. No noise, no crowd, no garbage, you will be impressed in the direction you go.

Here comes the water of the spring flowing from the Meghalaya mountains. But rain water increases during monsoon.

You will find all the stones of huge size all over the area. Meghalaya mountain ranges on all sides. Step down hill. Along with the white fountain across the lap of the mountain.

Beautiful houses are built on the hill. You will also see cars running on the road made by cutting the mountain.

A hidden gem. Not a typical waterfall, but the aftermath of it is certainly magical. The fresh cool wster feels refreshing under the feet. The scenic mountains surrounding the low plain offers a combo of everything. We visited during sunset, and was welcomed with shades of orange, yellow, blue, green and red all around. Plenty of opportunitu for good clicks in the soft evening light. Highly recommended to add with the famous Niladri lake.

My recommendation is that Lakmachara is the best place in Tahirpur Sunamganj. If you are planning to visit Tanguar Haor, make sure to add Lakmachara in your travel itinerary.

Another remarkable site to visit in Sunamganj. Mainly its a fountain, but due to off season it had no water so couldn't get proper use of visiting there. But one can imagine how beautiful its gonna be in season! A must visit for fountain lovers because this place is much spreaded, hence its much more enjoyable.
But take precaution as you visit because the border is near. And India has 150yards over the borderline. We should not disregard the boundary.

Sure, here is a review of Lackmachora:

Lackmachora (Bengali: লাকমাছরা) is a small village in the Rangamati Hill Tracts of southeastern Bangladesh. It is known for its stunning natural beauty, including lush hills, waterfalls, and crystal-clear rivers. The village is also home to a number of indigenous Tripura communities, whose traditional way of life is a fascinating glimpse into another world.

Visiting Tripura villages: Learn about the Tripura culture and way of life by visiting a traditional Tripura village.

Wildlife watching: The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, monkeys, and deer.

Tips for visiting Lackmachora:

The best time to visit Lackmachora is during the dry season, from November to March.

The village is quite remote, so it is important to arrange transportation in advance.

There are a few guesthouses in Lackmachora, but it is also possible to camp.

Be sure to pack insect repellent and sunscreen.

Respect the local culture and dress modestly.

Overall, Lackmachora is a beautiful and unspoiled destination that is perfect for nature lovers and those looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience. If you are looking for a place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life, Lackmachora is the perfect place for you.

This is one of the best place in Takerghat. Full of natural beauty. This is a trail leading toward a waterfall in India. You will find peace out there. Just remember the water flow is very high out there, so be careful while passing the current. There's a white flag out there indicating the borderline of Bangladesh, it is always better not to pass the borderline. And as a responsible citizen we should not litter any kind of waste in such a place.

15-20 minutes easy walk from Tekerghat. Nice place. Since it's in India-Bangladesh border it is advised to roam responsibly.

Lakmachora situated in India. But you can view and enjoy this place by the side of Bangladesh also. I went to the Bangladesh portion of Lakmachora. The place is really beautiful. You can compare this place with Bichanakandi. You cant go to the bridge and to the nearby hill but you can go near the water. The water is in the Bangladesh portion and hill and bridge is in the Indian portion. You can go there from Tahirpur bazar by walking or by riding a bike. By walking it will take 15-20 minutes from tahirpur. And if you take a bike then it will take 150 taka for 2 person up-down. Highly recommended place.
