The place is on the banks of the power channel and is simply a green heaven. The hirakud hills are visible from here and the environment is serene. The club here has everything from billiards to a multi-gym to a beautiful swimming pool. It is one of the best places in India to find yourself in.

It's Corporate office of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (A Central Govt. Coal Mining company) having jurisdiction over all Coal Mining operation in Odisha. The corporate office of MCL is surrounded by water body on three sides and one side is open to NH6. Flower garden around the office, enhance its beuty and a large Gulf playground attracts peoples to have a chance to play there. Also many tournaments are organised there. Selfie lovers visit there to snap them.
