Situated about 111 km from Agartala, Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary is another protected area dedicated to the vital mission of conservation of nature, wildlife and biodiversity which is frequented by visitors and tourist. It’s area is 194.704 sq.km. apart from the healthy forest coverage and plant-plethora, the great attraction of this Wildlife Sanctuary is a sizeable population of Gaur or Indian Bison. Trishna also harbours a good stock of avifauna population which is integral to the prevalent ecosystem of the Sanctuary. Another facet of Trshna Wildlife Sanctuary is the fact that it is also the habitat of and home to highly endangered only ape species of Indian subcontinent i.e, the Hoolock Gibbon and primates like Capped Langur and Golden Langur.

Awesome nature experience. You will feel soo close to nature. I like the old trees there, huge trees and also the tree house. The water body surrounds the place, you can do boating . There are many types of birds. There is also a souvenir shop. You can do picnic also. Must visit place for family gathering or picnic.

A wonderful place with it's mesmerizing view of Nature. The sight of the Bisons in the wild, the beautiful bufferlies in the park nearby, the relaxing environment and the rest house to stay is just awesome! Best time to visit is during the Monsoon!

it is one of the most important places of interest in tripura.It is situated in belonia sub -division of south tripura district ....this place is famous for its flora and fauna.There are various primate species like rhesus macaque,capped langur,hoolock gibbon,common langur,etc.Trishna is also famous for bison .Bisons are found in large amount.There is also a forest rest house inside the sanctuary and it is run by the government itself...There are also other accomodation facilities near to the sanctuary such as the muhuri tourist lodge...moreover,Trishna provides a great opportunity for wildlife photography.Nature lovers can find peace there.People may visit the place to relieve themselves from stress and boredom.It is only 95 km away from Agartala and can be reached by bus or private car..

It is 18 kilometers away from the sub divisional town of Belonia and is connected with Agartala by state highway. It can be approached either from Belonia in the south or Sonamura in the northern side. The sanctuary has an area of 194.708 square kilometers. This sanctuary has a number of perennial water rivulets, water bodies, and grass land. In this sanctuary, there are patches of virgin forests which are rich in rare vegetation. Indian Gaur (Bison) is an attraction of this sanctuary. Apart from it, there are varieties of Birds, Deers, Hollock Gibbon, Golden Langur, Capped Langur, Pheasant and many other animals and reptiles.
