The University named after the bengali revolutionary poet Kazi Nazrul born at Churulia village of Bardhaman district has been established in the year 2012.There are science, humanities, B.tech and other important streams inside it. It also recognize other government and private colleges of West Bardhaman district. The importance of the university lies in the establishment of the place which situated in the industrial belt of Panagargh, Andal, Durgapur, Raniganj and Asansol.

The university is very beautiful. This campus covers a large area. I had a very good experience visiting the university.

The kazi Nazrul university is the best university. The university provided higher education in all subject. The university provided all facility like canteen, library, fresh water and etc. There was a demand for a university in the area from a long time. The setting up of Kazi Nazrul University was primarily intended at responding to these local-material needs of democratizing higher education, outside of urban-metropolitan centers of cultural dominance. Professor Anuradha Mukhopadhyay, the first Vice Chancellor, assumed office on 3 December 2012 at the Asansol Durgapur Development Authority (ADDA) building. On 10 January 2013, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal Smt. Mamata Banerjee laid the foundation stone of Kazi Nazrul University on its own campus, close to the birthplace of Kazi Nazrul Islam at Churulia, 31 kilometres away from the city of Asansol. Anuradha Mukherjee was the first vice-chancellor of Kazi Nazrul University.

It located at Kalla bypass more and one can get bus from asansol bus stand to reach here easily

First Kazi Nazrul University in Asansol..The Facilities are very Good.Now the Technical Course Diploma in Mining Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering are Available from 2017.

Much better than Burdwan University. The students of Asansol sub divisional area are so lucky. Facilities are so good.

They are not given any results for non teaching 2014 recruitment. But we are provided 200rs each candidate .who tack responsible in this money .my god who tack the money ?
