If you are looking for a good veg restaurant in Tarapith, look no further. Although most of the restaurants serve non veg here, I was looking for a veg one and found this on google. The place is spacious, have good ventilation. And the food is just great and so reasonably priced. The meals or thali is so qualitative and value for money that I can't describe, mind you it is unlimited thali, just unbelievable. And the misti doi is oh so delicious, I ate it with the free papad in meals and it was delicious. I rate this must go.

You will not find many pure veg restaurants at Tarapith. This restaurant is very good pure veg restaurant with reasonable prices. Quality is awesome compared to prices.

About Tarapith
Town in India

Tarapith is a town and Hindu pilgrimage site located in Rampurhat subdivision of Birbhum district of the Indian state of West Bengal. The town is particularly known for its Tantric temple and its adjoining Hindu crematory ground. The Tantric Hindu temple is dedicated to the goddess Tara. Tarapith is also famous for Tantric saint Bamakhepa, who worshipped in the temple and resided in the cremation grounds. His ashram is also located in bank of Dwaraka river and close to the Tara temple. source
