Mazar Dargah Allama Fazle Haq Khairbadi (Rehmatullah Tala Alaih)

Allama Fazle Haq Khairabadi was a great legend in the freedom movement of India. He was great hanafi jurist, Mutaridi theologian, renowned philosopher, author, poet, religious scholar and rationalist thinker. He was bestowed with the title Imam-ul- hikmah wa al-kalaam and known also by his posthumous title of Baghi-e-Hindustan. He was also known as a man of literature, especially of Urdu, Arabic and Persian Language.He was born in 1797 in a highly scholastic atmosphere in Khairabad village of Sitapur district. In the Indian history, he was remembered for his numerous books on varied topics and assigning fatwas. He was not a common freedom fighter and a participant in the Revolt of 1857; he was a great negotiator and a top laureate who signed the proclamation "Holy War" against the British government.He was appointed as a chief official in court at Delhi Residency but resigned from the service and took part in the war against British rule in 1857. He drew up the constitution of the Government of liberated in Delhi led by Bahadur Shah Zafar. He was captured by the British, sentenced to transportation for life Deported to the Andamans and died in Andamans on 12 February 1861.

The leader of the war of freedom, Allamah Muhammad Fazl-e-Haq Khayr Aabadi Chishti (Alayhir Rahmah) was born in 1212 Hijri (1797 A.D.) in Khairabad, District Sitapur (U.P., India). He had the expertise in all branches of Islamic knowledge and had a great name in logic and Hikmat. He was a teacher of Islamic scholars, a famous personality of the Khairabadiyyah scholars, Chief Justice of Lucknow, Urdu and Arabic poet, author of many books and was a man of very strong personality. He (Alayhir Rahmah) passed away on Monday, 12th Safar, 1278 Hijri (i.e. 19th August 1861) in Andaman Island. His blessed shrine is also located there in South Point, Port Blair. @ Andaman and Nicobar Islands

قائد انقلاب، مجاہد جنگِ آزادی، بطل حریت، حضرت علامہ محمد فضلِ حق خیر آبادی فاروقی چشتی رضی اللہ عنہ کی ولادت 1212ھ‍ج خیرآباد، ضلع سیتا پور، اترپردیش، ہندستان میں ہوئی۔ آپ حافظ قرآن، ماہر علوم عقیلہ و نقلیہ، امام المناطقہ، رئیس المتکلمین، استاذ العلماء، سلسلہ خیرآبادیہ کے چشم و چراغ، لکھنؤ کے قاضی القضاۃ، اردو و عربی کے شاعر، کئی کتب کے مصنف اور مؤثر ترین شخصیت کے مالک تھے۔ کتب میں امتناع النظیر اور الثورۃ الھندیہ معروف ہیں۔ 12 صفر المظفر 1278ه‍ج بروز پیر بمطابق 20 اگست 1861ع کو جزیرہ انڈمان میں شہید ہوئے، مزار شريف بھی وہیں ساؤتھ پوائنٹ پورٹ بلیر میں ہے۔

Muhammad Fazl-e-Haq Khayrabadi Farooqi Chishti (RadiyAllahu Anhu) was born in 1212H in Khairabad, District Sitapur, U.P., India. He was a Hafiz of the Holy Quran, an expert in traditional and rational branches of knowledge, leader of logicians, master of theologians, teacher of scholars, a beacon of light among the scholars of Khairabad, Islamic Chief Justice of Lucknow, Urdu, and Arabic poet, author of many books and an extremely influential personality. Imtina’ al-Nazeer and Al-Thawrat al-Hindiyyah are famous among his books. He was martyred on Monday, 12th Safar 1278H (i.e. 20th August 1861) in Andaman Island. His blessed resting place is also located there in South Point, Port Blair, Andaman, and the Nicobar Islands.
