i studied in this school from1960 to1971. i love my school and wish to revisit my school. My principal was Mother Jude and I still miss her. i shifted to Loreto Lucknow in 1972. had great learning and enjoyed schooling

Amazing School !!!! Best school in Asansol with the best teachers. Excellent education system. Co-curricular activities are held here but the education system does not get effected. A good deal of attention is paid to discipline and etiquette.

I am glad that my tiny childhood was spend in this school, where my imaginations, my happiness and smiles bloomed and today made the person I am and also taught me to live and let others live happy as well help them be so! The world in the LCA is much better and i miss the way the teachers there protected us from the outside mean world of cruelty and fakeness. It gives you the education to be the queen this world requires. U can win any and every battle of life and come out with flying colours with just the LCA education. If for me, it made me a better human everyday i spent there and it still makes me with each passing day. LCA just doesn't provide you with a bookish knowledge but prepares you for every step you have to take in your life. It is the best school in town. Always and forever with #LCA❤

The best school in Asansol! It is the oldest school in the area and was run by Irish nuns. Although they no longer run the school, their principles are reflected by the students and the teachers alike. Loreto strives for perfection. She lays a LOT of stress on Moral Values, and if you want your child to be a proper human being, this is the place to send them. Academically speaking, Loreto's results are always better than the neighbouring schools. In fact with so many schools nearby there are a lot of inter-school activities, which means Loreto is a very happening place. Also, this is the only ICSE school in the area that qualifies for the Frank Anthony Memorial Debate. The students know how to behave in different places. They know when to be ladies and when to be tigresses. Anyone who says that the girls ''go mad when the see a male teacher'' is generalising things a bit too much, for then the exact opposite can be said for all-boys schools as well. It is the best school, and the best family... To the East and West of that fair isle, where the first Loreto stands, Loreto's banner gaily flows in many distant lands...

I have been a part of this beautiful place before actually becoming a loretoite. I remember, when I was three, coming to my sister's PTM, a teacher handed me a chocolate...just because I was a kid, and she was super kind to me. The person who said that Loreto has the worst set of teachers, I think has never been to Loreto Convent Asansol. My sister was here for seven years before I stepped into this heavenly place. Loreto Convent has taught me to be a lady. How to pronounce words, in a different way, not with an accent that sounded weird. Forcing us to read! Read books! The library is great there with all the books you want to read.

Guys we all love our school and so it is a request not to post any photo which is not related to our school even some outsiders are posting rubbish edits...please don't do this because whoever opens this site can see the photos and our school might have a bad impression... This is less of a school and more of a home to me. I passed out in 2014 from Loreto and still regret not coming back for 11th and 12th.
