I have touch with Burdwan for last three years.l stayed near Bijoy Taron and feel crisis for proper food stalls specially on Saturday and Sunday.Though there are some food stalls near Burdwan station on G.T.Road but night situation is not like that of daytime and hot rice is almost unavailable in the evening. Hotel Matrisneha at Badamtola saved this situation for my family. It is opened everyday even during bad weather,Saturday and Sunday.It is a low cost middle income food hotel.The Hotel Matrisneha demands the taste of it's food like that of home. It is true that the foods are not rich with oils and masalas.The services are well.Goodwishes for Hotel Matrisneha from Malda.

A normal Bengali food hotel. Nothing flashy but fresh medium quality rice, veg and non veg curries available. Roti available at evening. Lunch available in thali system consisting of rice, dal, 2 veg sabjis. Egg, fish and chicken curry optional and are extra chargeable.

Overall economical, tasty and fresh food.
