To enable you to understand us better, we will take you through our movement and tell who we are.

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), prominently known as the Hare Krishna movement is a spiritual society founded by His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in July 1966 in New York.

ISKCON follows a monothesitic tradition within the Vedic culture and belongs to Brahma Madhav Gaudiya Vaishnav sampradaya.

ISKCON follows the teachings of the Vedas and Vedic scriptures, including the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam which teach Vaishnavism or devotion to God (Krishna) in His Supreme Personal aspect of Sri Sri Radha Krishna. ISKCON is part of the disciplic succession which started with Lord Krishna Himself and continued with Srila Vyasadeva, Srila Madhavacharya, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and in the present day His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his followers.

ISKCON’s teachings are non-sectarian, following the principle of sanatana dharma or eternal religion, which denotes the eternal activity of all living beings – loving devotional service (bhakti-yoga) to Supreme Personality of Godhead.
The aim of ISKCON is to acquaint all people of world with universal principles of self-realization and God consciousness so that they may derive the highest benefit of spiritual understanding, unity and peace. The Vedic literature recommend that in the present age of Kali-yuga the most effective means of achieving self-realization is always hear about, glorify, and remember the all-attractive Supreme Lord Sri Krishna. Therefore, it recommends the chanting of the Holy Names: Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. This sublime chanting puts the chanter directly in touch with the Supreme Lord through the sound vibration of His Holy Name.

The serene atmosphere, the complimentary rosary, and the diverse selection of prasadam create a welcoming environment. The presence of shops offering religious books, Radhey jackets, sweets, cakes, and snacks adds to the overall experience. It seems like a place where one can find both spiritual solace and enjoyable offerings.

A place of exquisite beauty and deep spirituality. It offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, welcoming visitors at any time. Complimentary shoe-keeping services enhance the convenience. Fresh flowers are available for purchase just outside the temple, adding to the experience. My visit was truly remarkable, resonating with the spirit of 'Hare Krishna'.

It was very peaceful and soul soothing. I was lucky to have darshan of our lord Krishn ji and Radha rani.

In 1965, His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada left Vrindavan behind for spreading the message of Lord Krishna in Western countries. He entered Boston with a trunk full of Lord Krishna’s books and a negligible amount of money in his pocket.

Initially, he struggled a lot, but within a few days, people started noticing him. Some curious people joined him in his chanting and lectures, while some started to acquire serious concern about his holy mission. He lived in New York until the year 1966.

He had started giving lectures on the sacred Bhagavad Gita weekly. In 1966, he established ISKCON in New York City successfully.

Like every temple this temple gives the positive vibes too as the continuous mantra 'Hare Krishna: Hare Krishna: Krishna Krishna: Hare Hare' itself heals you and in the temple of lord Krishna you will listen this mantra continuously. Inside the temple there is a canteen too which serves almost all types of sweets and few fast foods. Also, there is no problem to park your vehicles outside the temple as temple is situated in the corner of the road which provides a plenty of space to park your vehicle.

Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir, generally known as the ISKCON Delhi temple, is a well known Vaishnav temple of Lord Krishna and Radharani in the form of Radha Parthasarathi.

The ISKCON temple in Delhi is known for its Bhagavad Gita Animatronics, Mahabharata Light and Sound Show, and a Ramayana Art Gallery.

Wonderful experience spending time here at the Ashram. The premises was very clean, volunteers were very enthusiastic and how can someone miss the song chant of Hare Krishna, absolutely peaceful and soothing! Very peaceful place, I must say.
