SHREE BRAHMANYA THEERTHARA VRUNDAVANA

I personally love this place. Shri Brahmanya Thirtharu he is guru of Shri Vyasarajaru. The idols pictures which I have attached are the one which both the gurus have worshiped and same has been done till now. 🙏🏻 very quiet place. Please visit this place and take blessings of Sri Pranadevaru and both the gurus. Prasada (daily food ) timing is 12:30 pm.

A clean and a well maintained holy place to visit and to know about the history. Don't forget to ask the priest about the importance and how it came to exist.

It is Sri Brahmanya Tirtharu who was responsible for growth, vidya, ashrama of Sri Vyasarajaru. He was born with the name Narasimha. Sri Purushottama Tirtharu gave the sanyasa to Brahmanya Tirtharu as per swapna soochana.

The Brindhavana of Sri Brahmanya Thirtharu across the KANVA RIVER and surrounded by green fields there emerges a calm serine village ABBUR, the divine resting place of Sri Brahmanya Thirtharu.

Abbur is around 70 kms from Bangalore on the Bangalore-Mysore Highway. Bus facility is very good , Train facility, to Channapatna from Mysore, Bangalore, Mandya, Maddur, etc.If you take a bus going to Mysore from Bangalore, get down at Chanapatna and from there take an auto to Abbur.

It is around 6Km from Chanapatna on the way to Kanva reservoir. Also there is local bus from Chanapatna to Abbur. For Araadhana, special taxies/buses will be there from Channapatna.

1. Malur – It is about 2 kms from Channapatna, where u can see Malur Aprameya temple

2. Purushottama Guhe – It is about 3 kms from Abbur, where Purushottama Thirtharu entered the cave and he never returned. It is believed that he is still there doing tapassu.

3. Kambada Narasimha devaru – in Brahmanya pura
4. Mukhyaprana devaru – Kengal Hanumantharaya – Vyasaraja prathistita

I have been to this place twice, but noticed restroom facilities arent good. Require mutt attention to renovate and make accommodation facilities for bhakthas to stay, and get blessings of greatest yathi.

Place has good vibrations and it is in the town Abbur 7-8km from Channapatna ( city of wooden toys). If you are coming via Bangalore then post Kengal Hanuman temple you can take right near railway level crossing and now (May 2022) roads till one point not that good. But coming from Channapatna it is better than other route.

Place sanctity and vibrations are really good.

Parking- depends on rush and small place available for parking vehicle

Administration - very poor no coordination

Facilities - they have functional hall but washrooms are the challenging part and definitely not old people friendly

Abburu is a village in Channapatna. The mutt is about 5-6 kms away from Bengaluru-Mysuru Express way. Due to the ongoing construction of the underpass near the deviation, you need to take the service road to reach channapatna city (which happens to be the old Bengaluru-Mysuru road) and take a left turn near the Channapatna high court which leads you to the Abbur mutt road.

The Brindavana is of Sri Brahmanya Theertharu who gave ashrama to Sri Vyasarajaru. Sri Brahmanya Theertharu is also known as 'Suryamsharu' and one can be bestowed with good health by his blessings. Beside the brindavana is Sri Vyasaraja Pratishtitha Sri Mukhyaprana devaru to the right and to the left is the mrutthika brindavana of Sri Vyasarajaru. You can also find other pontiff's brindavana in the premises.

There is certainly some vibration in this place. The mutt is surrounded by lush green coconut farms and has a very pleasant environment. A small river call Kanva also flows by the mutt.

Dress code is strictly Saree for women and Panche Shalya for men. Theertha prasada is also served by the mutt. There is also some parking space beside the mutt.

Other places to visit while in abburu -
1) Malur Aprameya temple - situated in the old Bengaluru - Mysuru road in Channapatna.
2) Purushottama guhe - Purushottama Theertharu was the ashrama gurugalu of Sri Brahmanya Theertharu. There is no brindavana as he entered the guhe alive and never turned back.

Very serene place... one can feel the positive vibe as soon as we enter the sanctum. all madwas must visit and take blessings of brahmanya thirtharu.

Sannidhana is silent place, good for dhyanam, belongs to Madhva Brahman,surrounded by full of green trees, cool place. Piligrims abide to the rules and regulations of the mutt.

Located in a sleepy village, This is a divine place provided you play within the rule book of the mutts management. You can enter the main place of worship only in Dhoti/Angavastram or half saree and strictly no talking on phones. The place is so remote that you won't even find an ATM or a hotel for the radius of 5 kms. So keep your supplies ready. Inform the mutts management the previous day if you are planning for theertha prasada and save them a last minute surprise.

Very calm, powerful and beautiful mutt. If we sit in front of the brindavana and do meditation, chanting Sri Brahmanya teertha's name for about 15 minutes, one can feel the freshness of his / her mind and also may get solutions for many queries.
Moola brindavana of Sri Brahmanya teertha is there. On the left side of this Moola brindavana there is a mruttika brindavana of his shishya Sri Vyasarajaru and on the right hand side of this Moola brindavana there is a small and beautiful mukhya prana devari (hanuman). Near the mutt there is Kanva river. This is the place where Sri Brahmanya teertharu used to meditate and do samsthana pooja. Since it is the Moola brindavana, the attire to visit the mutt is dhoti and shalya for men and saree for women. There are other Moola brindavanas of the abburu vyasaraja mutt parampare on left and right side of Sri Brahmanya teertha's Moola brindavana.
Abburu is around 6 kms from Chennapatna. One can visit in own vehicle or can get modes like cabs, autos from Chennapatna.
There are few regular buses that passes through this mutt. Timings can be found out from Chennapatna bus stand.

Divine place in between the nature. Allowed to enter the mutt in traditional dress only.Saree for ladies and panche for men. Serve the lunch if informed earlier. Bus facility is also available.

@Jayashree Hp, they do not even throw food to dogs. They serve everyone with respect. So you must be someone cheaper than dog for having been treated that way or you must be a sadist making false accusation because you are not as previleged as they are. Go wash your mind with help of a doctor. Mental patients like should not be roaming around free.

Sri Vyasaraja mutt. Sri Brahmanya theertharu is the guru of Sri Vyasarajaru and plays an important role in the upbringing of Sri Vyasarajaru. It's a sacred place with Mukhya Pranadevru, Brahmanya theertha and vyasaraja brindavana and all brindavanas of yathis in the lineage.

Prasadam/ food is also very tasty but after having food we have to clean the place that is little bit uncomfortable & one more thing they are serving the food/ prasadam little bit late too..

Divine place and peace is assured here . People with any health ailment should visit and pray here and soon they will be blessed with good health for sure and I'm classical example.for that
