the story goes that this is a temple, where a leopard visits often and hence the name Wagheshwar Mandir

I visit this temple every year as this is my family God and everytime I feel positive and blessed. Since this temple is surrounded by mountains it feels very cooler and we wouldn't want to step out of the temple. Beautiful and serene 💞

A great place to visit if you have travelled to tondavali beach. The stories about the mandir are heard and seem to be authentic. The villagers believe that this place is a sacred place known for tigers / leopard who is a gods avatar annd doesn't harm humans at all. The youtube has some material to endorse this belief.

It's My village's most holy place. We worship Tiger in our village and Wagheshwar is on of the avtar of Shri Shankar Bhagwan. It's situated below mountain and surrounded by many trees.

Tondavali is My Native place. Wagheshwar temple is best place for meditation and some calm time for mind. It's really wonderful and a true Gem of Konkan.
