My work favorite place

It is on the way to Mirik Lake from Siliguri. From here you can buy anything. I have brought Darjeeling Tea.

From here one road goes to Mirik, Dudhe, the other road goes to Darjeeling, Kurseong via pankhabari. Many restaurants available. Try the tea, samosa of the Gupta's.

A small area near foot of hill. Having a tremendous beauty around. Mesmerising tea gardens sloppy hilly roads will amaze you for sure. Garidhura is juntction point, having moderate shops and a beautiful places to tickle around.

Small bazaar catering to basic requirements of the people. It is a pit stop for travellers to the hills, looking for some refreshments enroute.
On Saturdays there is a haat (temporary, local market) where one can buy fresh vegetables and meat.
Nice, friendly and helpful people here.
A police station is also located here.

best place to be....freindly and helpful people. will experience the real heart of one gorkhali. ask for a water and they will provide you food and shelter.

Small town for quick snack

I love this place. One sweet shop is my most favorite.

Its a small bazar the most exciting thing being the resturants that offer tasty momos aloodum and others.

Serene natural beauty, lush greenery could be enjoyed in the rains.

Small quaint bazaar but all necessities available .. favourite halt on way to Mirik from Siliguri
