Lion Safari

It's a very good initiatives taken by Forest Department, Thanks to all. The King of Jungle are not in the cage, they are free, totally freedom. They can stay peacefully no disturbance. The Lion safari was awesome 😍 Worth of money, You have to purchase a ticket of ₹-100/- per person for the the safari. We can't go into that restricted place without any protection i.e by walking or bicycles. But it is 100 % sure that you can feel a natural wildlife atmosphere i.e you are entering into Jurassic park ✌🏻 Deer park is also good, so many deers are there.

Be ready for some wait time but the bus service is quite good. Saw few lions relaxing in their cages

God... The King along with his Queen looked so majestic ..we were able to watch a pair in open fields and all others in a enclosure. Ticket price is ₹100 /- for both Lion 🦁 and Deer Safari.

Ticket cost Rs.100 for per person. You can able to watch lion and deer at very near. Worth for money

The Highlight of the vandalur Zoo is the lions safari. People are taken very close to the lion in a safe van with is completely covered by iron grill. It is completely safe to take kids of all ages. After the lions safari, they take you to the Deer safari. The total time of all the Safaris would be 30 mins. No one can get out of the van until the end of the safari.

Enjoyed the lion safari.
But the ticket prices can be reduced, waited for 3 hrs to take the tickets.
It's better to book the tickets in online in advance

First time I went for safari. Liked it very much. Saw few lions very closely.

Really good experience especially for the children with family.. Government needs to reduce the cost and increase the vehicles for everyone to see. Preferable to go in the evening as in summer animals will not be much roaming around.

we r traveling in a zoo bus. surprisingly the bus turned to the lion safari..

Had a nice experience here. Kids will enjoy it provided lion is closer to the Safari vehicle, which may not happen at all times

Very enjoyable I think the price is also ok. But be aware they won't play the buses until they are full.

If you are lucky enough you can encounter lion very closely sitting inside the mini van
