Tasty and delicious authentic Persian signature dishes along with aromatic tea...and we thoroughly enjoyed. Worth for money......Best thing it is having indoor and Outdoor Seating arrangements and make a friendly atmosphere with ample place. Beach view is awesome cool nature.

One of the fine restaurants in Chennai with an Iranian roots in it's Tate buds.we can find a wide variety of Persian dishes.they are quiet spicy and different in preparation compared to Indian dishes .the service is too good and food is served with love.

They take a little time to make food. But time is taken for a purpose and the purpose is delivered to your taste buds. The food is made with true heart that reflects in their taste. The Shiraz tea is their trade mark. One can have 2 of it easily to be precise.. that good it is. I dont exaggerate any food. The food MUST taste what it is named after and then we decide how it tastes. In Chennai its hard to find the former. We had baby corn fritters and Calamari in starters. The Gram floor paste using which they were covered and fried. It was of apt color. Not fried too little .. just perfect color. That gives it required crispy texture and hence the taste. Baklava cake. JUST WOW is the word. TOO fresh to miss it if u are cake or dessert lover. Then I had mutton Shank and jewel rice. The Mutton was long piece with bone. Like you get in Kabsa lehem. This was absolutely out of the world. The masala used was cooked well. The art here is not to put a masala and make a mutton. People miss a point that the masala too ought to be cooked nicely to give the aroma and the taste to the meat. This review is solely mine and no where influenced by and third party. I am no where connected to the restaurant or its owners. Finally the Shiraz tea.. what can I say. Words are less to describe the aroma of it stuck in my head. Note - DONT visit this place in a hurry. Missed a say on the view. The view is very soothing right in front of the sea and breeze.

More than the food I would visit this place for its ambiance. The outdoor seating is so nice, it faces the sea and you get the nice sea breeze in you face. The interior is pretty quaint and nice. Food is quite good but don't expect anything grand, it's authentic Iranian food and I personally liked it.

The food served here is really good. The fried calamari and chicken schnitzel were cooked perfectly. To add to that, they have two wonderfully friendly dogs to pet. Deserves a 5/5 rating.

We went there to taste authentic Persian signature dishes along with aromatic tea...and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.....best thing is it is pet friendly with ample place. The hospitality is stunning and we can vouch of authenticity and great taste....Thank you Shiraj Team......

Oh my god what a food and what an ambience and location. Going during night is even more enjoyable. Beautiful restaurant with very high quality service. I tried Chicken gourmet with rice and fried dish. The taste was sublime. I recommend this place with big group. I will visit the place again. My suggestion to the management you need to tie up with IT company for group buffet and add more dishes to the already existing dishes.Thanks!

We love the food, and especially the owners of Shiraz. Its got great food, and part of Tryst so you can get great pastries too! The Chicken Berry Palau is spicy but fantastic!

Must visit place...that is good for people who wants good conversation with their closed one. Opposite to Shiraz, Beach view is super cool. Food is somewhat expensive...but ambience will cover that Rate issue.
I will recommend Shiraz cafe.

Authentic Persian food like nothing you can find anywhere else in the city. The yoghurt soup is a delicacy. Even their desserts are unique. Guaranteed to satisfy the discerning palette.

Fabulous Ambience,wonderful hosts and food to die for.Their guava barley smoothie is a must try and their orange rice is the icing on the cake.The lamb, chicken and fish dishes are delicious.The sun,the sea,divine food,the warmth and care of the owners............. makes for a wonderful outing.

An absolute delight. The zafrani chai keeps taking me back to this place along with the not to be missed falooda with kesar syrup. Make sure your Chai is accompanied with bakhlawa cake. The dinner menu is equally delicious. The delight of this place is the owner who welcomes with a warm smile and waves a goodnight after all is done and tasted.

Wow, what a place! Love that location, secluded beach right outside of the cafe. Outdoor seating on a cool autumn day is as best as it can get! Food is wonderful, Lil bit on the costlier side but with that location the price is worth it!

Fantastic ambience. It gives you an impression that you are not in a hotel. Little less variety for vegetarians. Starters are more delicious than main course items. Rs 1100 for two.

Nicest restaurants around. Food was very good. Good ambience. Food preparation here takes a little time, but they inform that also well in advance and suggest us to order accordingly. The wait time is really worth it.

I’l tel, trust her with the spread.. jus explain your family, their option of food & your budget.. rest leave it to her.. may b the menu might b new to you, but they wil sit on your guests’ taste buds forever...
she does it for the love of food.. & you can feel it... we so love her & her bro & the team... food s always fresh & yummy...
she treats you always like her favourite kid who returned after a along vacation...
I can say the menu is bit under priced.. for the love & purity of food they serve ther.... wen v leave the place v always wish & pray this place should b ther unaffected by any of our country’s most fluctuating political conditions... tho now a days we couldn’t go ther so much due to my kid’s school life started, but always wen night falls, we both my husband & myself end up talking about this place... & wish to go ther soon some time...

Ah, the food.., it’s Persian, it’s creamy & yummy.. don’t approach the food wit predefined looks, just close your eyes, smell & taste it.. that’s how you should b introduced to a new cuisine, & yes! You wil fall in love with Persian food.. tat fish & prawn.. still I can taste it.. wow... simple chicken fries, can it taste any better??! Seriously, she sprinkles her magic to all tat they serve...

Many are leaving one star reviews here, and I see why. Wrong location + when I managed to find your restaurant after spending 20 mins, I saw it was closed. Please update your status as "Temporarily Closed" on Google Business.

Great place to chill off, located very close to sea shore. Dining tables set off in lawn offers good experience. Totally value for money :)
