Galigabadar Waterfall, Pottangi

Excellent place.Dont be confused between Galigabadar waterfall and Rathiballi waterfall.Both are same.Place name is Galigabadar and the name of waterfall is Rathiballi.

Very nice place & beautiful waterfall in Galigabadar. This waterfall is located in patangi, Koraput odisha. Galigapadar is a Village in Kotiya Tehsil , Koraput district and Odisha State. 11 KM from from Patangi and 55 KM from Koraput . This waterfall is the foothills of DEOMALI HILL. Best time to visit this place in Winter season. The waterfall of Galigapadar fall down in so many layer. That's is beautiful moments & scene in this place.

Located 11 km away from Potangi block headquarter on the foothills of Deomali, one can get a view of Galigabdar Rathabali’s multiple drops from a distance. Water gushes down in several steps through a single rock and visitors can climb to the top of the rock to have a closer look at the fall.

For its stunning landscape, the waterfall gets visitors round the year from both within the State and Andhra Pradesh. Due to good road communication, the waterfall is easily approachable from even Raipur and Andhra Pradesh and on an average, at least 200 tourists visit the waterfall during the peak season.

A famous and fast growing tourist place. Please do visit , cook and chill with the weather and scenes around and I bet you will love it.

Note:- please don't let children and kids to go to water or anyone to the watery surfaces of stone as they are very slippery as water runs in the stones 24*7 and it's very danger.

Located near to Sunabeda(Koraput, Odisha), this waterfall offers one of the most amazing scenic views! The place is at high altitude and feels cold even in summers.

The road to this waterfall is narrow and full of hairpin bands.

So if you're going there make sure you drive well in hilly roads. Also the road is very narrow that only one vehicle (car) can go at a time(one way). So you must be skilled enough to drive on elevated roads.

But beyond all this, this road offers best picturesque views that you would never had seen (I bet), specially during the evening (sunset).

You can drive near to the mouth of waterfall as there is a big parking area.

Driving through the tribal villages will also give you a chance to see and explore tribal culture.!

This is Galigabdar waterfall located near the border of Andhra and Odisha close to patangi around 50 km from Koraput. It is one of the best picnic spot the roads are like ok not so good not so bad and also this place has a parking facility for not to worry about thatbut no hotels and restaurants are there on the spot so you need to carry your own foodbecause of some construction work is going on but but so do visit the place and don't make it dirty by throwing garbage here and there

It's a very nice waterfall near by pottangi koraput.we can enjoy nature at there with green Hil.

Fantastic place for picnic

Super water fall. Not maintained properly. Government administration should provide basic facilities and promote about the place.

This is an amazing waterfalls and at the same time very dangerous. This place is ideal for Picnics, you can actually cook here, provided you get all the necessary items required. Great Picnic spot. There are several levels to this waterfalls and you can trek down and enjoy every level of it. Please remember, do try to play or slide as it is very dangerous. Very nice place but go to deomali or kotia from diz road it will be an awesome ride....

Sucha a beeeeeautiful and peaceful place to spend some quality time or for a picnic party. A shed is available for picnic and the place becomes very attractive especially in rainy days

Wow place

One of the several beautiful waterfalls located in Koraput district.Its 10 KM from Pottangi block. Location is beautiful and completely surrounded by Mountains. Quiet, serene and nature at its best. Nice place for picnic. Its absolutely worth a visit. The place is not known to many, slowly gaining its popularity among locals. Would definitely visit again and recommend others to visit during rainy season
