it's a great refreshment being there. but no vehicles allowed. and even gate closed for visitors. only need to jump through wall and need to visit. boat riding was non ops..

It is a spot that is both lovely and serene. I came here without knowing about the place, and I won't regret it. We passed by here on our way back from Borra Caves to Vizianagaram. When we went in the evening, there wasn't much of a crowd. You can get some fresh air if you are tired of breathing the same polluted air of the city (yes, Vizag is now getting populated and polluted). The area consists of a reservoir, a dam, and a body of water with some gorgeous scenery. The hilly surroundings make for a scenic landscape for your photos. You must park your vehicle on the village road and walk for around 150 metres to reach the sightseeing location. The sound of running water, birds chirping, and tranquil moments make it one of the best spots to visit in Vizag. When we asked the residents nearby why the gate was closed, they informed us that the location was no longer open to tourists. Prior to certain incidents, boating was permitted here, but it has now been permanently prohibited. Be careful because there are no security guards, rescuers, or anybody else watching over this area. Given the fact that a few CCTV cameras have been placed, anyone who believes they can enter without being noticed should reconsider because whatever that happens will be captured on camera.

Excellent tourist place for nature lovers.....The scenery is spectacular when you see the Gosthani River flows between Eastern Ghats....There is also a boating facility at this reservoir....

we reached late so no one was around. Also we had to jump the gate and go.

Best time to go would be sunset time.

Very calm and peaceful surrounded with dense greenery and hills. The famous Ananthagari eastern ghats hills can be seen. Parking is just as you tum into the road way and the a short walk up to the dam. All good.

If possible try to visit this place early in the morning the vibe will be just awesome

OMG this was the craziest place for me. The gates were closed means the place was not open on 18th june, but still I managed myself to enter the place and what I saw was brutally amazing. The scenic beauty is hard to explain. I was totally suprized by seeing the emptyness and silence of the place. It was huge it was humongous and it was also horrifying for me. Because i went alone, there were only 3 person sitting at the starting of the dam and 2 families were returning. It was so silent and empty that I could not managed myself to cross the total bridge for going to the other side. I went in the day time like 12 o.clock. Just go and watch the beauty. I went by auto from NTR and returned to Vizianagaram station he took 400 rs for up down journey.

Best place to visit during Diwali time. Opposite to dam, near the hill there ia a village l. People live there and travel weakly. Teachers visit the place once a week.
