I can strongly say that if anyone interested in marine education go and attend this university why because studying at AMET was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The campus is lovely and provides a wonderful learning environment. There are also numerous opportunities for you to gain field experience before graduating.

One of the best maritime universities in India. We are visited by international shipping companies for recruitment each year. I enjoyed the four years when I was here. Placement opportunities are one of the best in the industry and the university encourages to participate in sports and other co-curricular activities for overall development. Our lectures are few of the most experienced marine faculties and ex-Indian navy officers🙏.

Good infrastructure, great teachers, nice atmosphere. University is situated in the outskirts of Chennai city and close to Mahabalipuram beach-thus, having a scenic view with a lot of restaurants and other outlets to serve tourism. Hostel food could have been better. Placement is one of the best in its category, as the university has ties with several shipping companies.

Amet University is a very affordable college with a great student support system. I have been studying engineering for the past two years and have been more than satisfied with my experience. The professors here are always willing to go out of their way to help you understand the lesson and that for me was a vital part of my learning process. Most importantly, it's a very safe campus

AMET university provides great infrastructure inclusive of a massive library, good hostel accommodation, large & clean swimming pool, volley ball (beach and regular), cricket nets, basketball court, gym etc. I spent few of my best moments in life here. Faculty is knowledgeable, experienced and approachable. Placement percentage tops other maritime institutions.

AMET is an excellent university to join, it really helps to shape up one's personality and make them eligible to become an officer material. The institution provides one of the best infrastructures presently available to proper groom future ship captains. They are very strict about enforcing rules and adapting to their system has helped me perform well in my voyages.
