As the name suggests,
It’s a very large farm - in which they run a unique restaurant with great dishes.
A Pet friendly place.
It has a large area for cows and cowshed there. Wonderfully maintained.
There was even a picturesque Temple amidst the lush green lawn.
The shop over there was good - it had all home grown food and vegetables of wide varieties.
Speaking about the restaurant - it was so classy
Food menu was like such a handpicked food made out from their own farm products - which was more amazing
Great culinary experience - with unique tastes of food from all over India.
A great place to spend your weekend

We were very keen in visiting this place again in Chennai.
Situated on omr road, this place is just the thing you need in the middle of everyday chaos I.e. peace.
Beautiful property, it's a huge farmland with separate huge enclosures for cows. You ll get to see cats , dogs , hens roaming around freely. My toddler had a good time enjoying the views.
Big property enough that you can roam around by walking. Full of trees and flora and fauna.
All the food they have in their menu is mostly organic, I e. They have homegrown it all in their farm.
We tried multiple items, including prawns , Pineapple, cheese, sun dried tomatoes and chicken pizza, various cakes, toffees, Pork roast etc. And everything was beautiful 😍
An experience in itself, Definitely a must visit when you are in Chennai.

If you are looking for a rustic eating experience then look no further. Authentic ingredients, tasty food and earthy ambience make it a good experience.
You can also get some farm grown veggies and homemade jams, pickles, cheese and ghee and bread.

Best handmade cheese in Chennai in my opinion (I am French)
First of all, the place is incredibly quiet and relaxing although it is on OMR.
Staff are kind and helpful.
About the service, you don’t have to wait 30min to get your food on the table after ordering.
About the food, I go the this place whenever I am in need of good cheese, and this place deliver the best cheese in Chennai I ever taste. Overall food are also very good, never disappointed.
There is also a small farm shop where they sell their product
I can easily recommend this place to whoever need a (food) break in Chennai.

A hidden gem in Chennai. The food was so fresh and tasted like a home cooked meal. The ambience was so serene with lush green trees and plants. It's simply therapeutic to visit this restaurant while you can sit and enjoy your meal at peace. The cheese options are a must try. They have a distinct nutty hay flavour to it. We tried marghazi filter coffee, jasmine bud green tea, pull apart bread, lebneh and baked feta bowl. Everything tasted delicious. You have vegan and vegetarian options here. They also have a shop where you can buy stuff. And you can go and visit farm animals ❤

Had lunch at The Farm on a Sunday and also picked a few of their Christmas Special Fruit Cakes on the return. The place offers a calm and serene setting among the hustle and bustle of OMR. The minute you enter you can start to feel relaxed. Indoor and outdoor seating is available depending on the weather. It is highly recommended to call ahead and reserve your table, especially on the weekends. The food is just amazing. It is fresh and thoughtfully prepared and hence, I would definitely say it warrants the price they charge. The ingredients are mostly what they can source locally. Will definitely be visiting again and again to have all the items on their menu. They do offer take away, please do call them on the listed number.

Amazing food. Tried the recheado prawns, pork belly, and a really amazing pizza. Blown away by the great good and the lovely ambience.
And absolutely do not miss out on their store where you can buy cheeses, jams, spreads, especially their dark chocolate peanut butter!
A must visit! ❤✨

After following their Insta account for 3 years now, and trying some snacks during a visit earlier this year, my family and I are super excited to have lunch here on a Sunday... Excellent choices and delicious food and drinks. Love the ambience. There's also a really nice farm shop with organic produce. Highly recommended.

The farm is a pleasant break from conventional restaurants in Chennai. The place must be high on your list if you are:
1. In Chennai (duh).
2. Love the outdoors.
3. Willing to splurge a premium.

It’s not a restaurant review without talking about the food, so let me get it done with - The food is very good, but be careful before you order. It’s easy to order something that might not suite your taste ( not the restaurants fault ). The menu has unique but blissfully tasty options interspaced with hidden (unpleasant) surprises.

Everything you eat is prepared with locally sourced/grown & the freshest ingredients. This is not only the USP of “The Farm”. , but also something for which the proprietors and staff feel immense pride.

Food aside, I couldn’t help but marvel at the location, it lives upto it’s name. You are going to love to spend hours with your friends and loved ones. Beverages need more work (though must admit that I couldn’t try the cold filter coffee)

P.S Great place to take your kids ( though there aren’t any kids specific activities ).

"How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways"

If I had to shower poetry on a place, this would be a fine place to begin. A first quick look around the area took us to their shop where you can pick up their wares, which range from various artisanal cheese, to their pretty pastas, jams and preserves, toffees, salad dressings and pickled vegetables, fresh to handmade soaps beautifully wrapped in cloth, and even cute wooden spoons. After getting lost in all awesomeness for a while, we moved to the café/restaurant area which harboured a brick oven where they conjure up fresh bread and amazing pizza(which I'm yet to try, but the long list of intriguing topping combinations convince me that they will not disappoint).
Since we didn't have much time left( they sadly close by 6 nowadays), we went for some coffee and dessert. The old fashioned chocolate cake was a thing of beauty that had a crown of flowers and was nothing short of royalty. The Key Lime Pie had us falling in love and had even the toughest critic joining in the fight for the last crumbs. There truly is magic in food made with the best of ingredients and one cannot put a price on that. Even the attention put into the menu is something I'd like to point out.

That being said, I look forward to the day I get to visit again. Till then I will think of it fondly...

(Special thanks to the bestie for introducing me to this place, amongst all the great things she has done)

The farm is one of the greenest restaurants/ cafe that’s not too far away from the city. They are open from 7:30am and close by 6:00pm. All the greenery and animals within the facility makes one feel as though they have stepped out of the city and visited a cafe in the middle of nowhere. The place has gained popularity over time leaving it filled with visitors at all times of operation. They make their in-house cheese which is a must try. Their is a small organic store from where one can pick some quality produce back home. It is also pet friendly. Their restrooms can be maintained better. Pizza is a must try! Food is priced nominally for their quality. A relaxing experience with rich food is all that this place has to offer.

It's the kind of place you go to when you have time and a leisurely weekend. Guess everyone has the same idea because lunch at The Farm is packed with guests. Book at least a week in advance, especially if you are going as a large group.
It has changed from its early days when dinner was served as well - but now lunch is the only meal served to people who drive from the city.
Everything from the Kokum sherbet to the sabudana vadas to the paneer parathas, the half and half pizzas are concoctions made with care and a deft hand.
You've probably had thin crust pizza but sun-dried tomatoes and walnut toppings are delectable.
The paneer parathas are puffed proudly with paneer that breaks into crumbly little pieces with chundo, pickle, dal and thick yoghurt to accompany it.
The kokum sherbet has the perfect combination of the sourness and sweetness with the fizz of bubbles popping in the mouth.
The restaurant itself is under a large canopy that sprawls and accommodates large groups. En route to your table, you get to see the chefs busy at work.
And if it's too hard to make a choice, play tic tac toe and you'll still be right.
Keep space for desserts because there are a huge number of them.
Then take a walk around the place, snap pictures against some of the colourful greenery or laze on a swing.
You'll need that because it will mean hitting the gym for a few days to work it all off

the pizza is amazing, must try. the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing, absolutely love this olace. the price is a little high but i think it's worth it for the ambience and for the fact that many of their ingredients are self grown and house made

A farm house maintained well with dine in facilities. Good taste and quality of food items. Loved the smoked pork and richoto chocolate ice-cream ❣ outdoor dining area also available below Bamboo trees. Reasonable rates. No dinner services yet, only lunch.

When you eat food at the Farm Chennai you can taste the passion and joy in it! It's become a favourite weekend drive to pick up fresh farm produce and their amazing preserves. I loved the raspberry and rhubarb compotes. Their caramel toffee is delicious. You must try the cheeses they make.

Also their weekend specials cannot be missed. Their special six course pork meal was so so good.

Great place to hangout with friends and family (away from chennai city). It’s open only 11.30am to 6pm. Great pour over coffee and cheese place. Also try their smoked meats and pizzas at restaurants. Outdoor seating but with fans to help you manage the Chennai heat. You can also pick up fresh produce and veggies from their store.
