Absolute gem of a place if you are looking for natures wonder . I have went there multiple times. Old people will face challenges with the steps and slippery floors . If you go in summer , you can go till the end. With rains it will be little tricky as water will be on the floors . From the parking one has to walk some distance for the ticket counter . Lot of eating options are on the way . It gets super hot so plan to visit early .

Never seen anything like this before. Me and my family was completely amazed by this natural wonder. The caves are gigantic and eerie. There is a lot of walking and stairs so be mentally prepared for that, although it wasn't tiring because it was quite cool underground.
The crowd could have been managed better.
If you visit these caves, do also try the bamboo biryani that area is famous for

This is the best thing I witness on Araku Valley trip, the caves are very long with amazing structure made inside and the light make it look like so beautiful.

Suggest you to go at 10, it's opening time so less crowd.

Inside the cave is cool.

Must visit Tourist place around Araku valley.Cave is grand and some kind unique, Entry ticket 80 rupees for adults. Many monkeys are there. Caves are beautiful but sometimes people in groups, shout and make noise which is very irritating, The worst part is that there is no security Guard to manage the crowd . Caves decorated with colour Changing Lights. It takes around one hour to visit Caves. Photography is allowed and many photographers are there for instant photo Print. The washroom facility is available but not much clean. Many craft shops and food stalls are there , especially chicken cooked in bamboo.

A must must visit if you want to experience one of a kind limestone cave. It has stairs mostly to cover the nooks and corners of the cave and some seriously steep iron stairs. Be extra cautious if going with kids and aged people as its risky and tiresome for both. 40/- charge per adult.

Borra Caves offered a mesmerizing underground adventure. The natural formations were awe-inspiring, and the guided tour provided interesting insights. The well-maintained pathways and lighting enhanced the overall experience. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a unique geological wonder.

Just like ocean and snow, the cave is also a unique experience. Entry line tickets are long though, beauty of caves will make you forget about other things. One can witness the formation of pillars(Stalagtites and stalactites)
Bora cave is a very long stretch, the sounds of bats are amazing.

These limestone caves, characterized by stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations, offer a surreal underground experience. The natural formations within the caves are often creatively named, adding to the intrigue of the visit. As you explore the labyrinthine pathways, marvel at formations like "Shiva-Parvati," "Mother-Child," and "Human Brain." The play of light and shadow within the caves enhances their ethereal beauty. Borra Caves, with their rich geological history and enchanting formations, provide a unique and memorable adventure for nature enthusiasts and curious travelers alike.
There will network issues only some mobile operators will have signal there.

These caves are famous for their unique limestone and stalactite formations. The history of Borra Caves dates back millions of years, with the geological formations evolving gradually.Maximum depth of about 80 meters. But everyone will enjoy the nature always and one thing these caves are shown in jagadekha virudu athiloka sundari

The caves, one of the largest in the country, at an elevation of about 705 m (2,313 ft), distinctly exhibit a variety of speleothems ranging in size and irregularly shaped stalactites and stalagmites. The caves are basically karstic limestone structures extending to a depth of 80 m (260 ft), and are considered the deepest caves in India✨

Visited on 25-10-2023. Amazing Place and Extremely Crowded.
Take a train from Vizag at 6:45am, reach at Borraguhallu normally 09:40 am. Then a 10-15 walking to the cave from the station. Bags are not allowed in the cave, cloak room available at the gate. Be aware in the cave of darkness and steps. 1 hour is enough for this cave. Add Araku valley, coffee plantations, tribal museum with this one for complete one day tour.

It was a rainy when we visited so very slippery, make sure to wear proper shoes. The place teems with monkeys, so don't carry any food items or even mobile out in your hands. That being said, beautiful and haunting cave. The trek down is slightly difficult for people with respiratory issues. Please maintain the sanctity by not misbehaving. Which tourists often do and is absolutely disgusting.

An amazing cave, definitely visit if you come to Vizag. This cave will be on the way to Araku Valley. Inside the cave you will also find a Shiva temple which is amazing. If you want to buy something for your loved ones, you will also find the local market. Coffee is available here at low cost and can be bought if needed. I have attached some pictures below.
