Previously Library was attached with memorial ,birth place of Vidyasagar.Now a large building double storied , was made just
By the side of main bus road .Library was closed. The School (Birsingha Bhabatarini Vidyalaya) was also closed.we could not take the photograph.

ঊনবিংশ শতাব্দীর প্রাণপুরুষ ঈশ্বরচন্দ্র বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ওরফে ‘দয়ার সাগর’ ঈশ্বরচন্দ্র বিদ্যাসাগর ১৮২০ খ্রিস্টাব্দের ২৬শে সেপ্টেম্বর ব্রিটিশ ভারতের বাংলা প্রেসিডেন্সির বীরসিংহ গ্রামের এক দরিদ্র ব্রাহ্মণ পরিবারে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন (বীরসিংহ গ্রামটি তৎকালীন সময়ে হুগলী জেলার অন্তর্গত হলেও তা অধুনা ভারতবর্ষের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার অন্তর্গত)। ঈশ্বরচন্দ্র বিদ্যাসাগরের পিতা ঠাকুরদাস বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ছিলেন পেশায় কলকাতায় স্বল্প বেতনের চাকুরীজিবী ও মাতা ভগবতী দেবী ছিলেন গৃহপত্নী। এ কারণেই বিদ্যাসাগর মহাশয়ের শৈশব জীবন তার মা ও ঠাকুরমা শ্রীমতী দূর্গাদেবীর সঙ্গেই অতিবাহিত হয়। ১৮৩৪ খ্রিস্টাব্দে সংস্কৃত কলেজে ষষ্ঠ শ্রেণীতে পঠনরত সময়ে ক্ষীরপাই নিবাসী শত্রুঘ্ন ভট্টাচার্যের কন্যা দীনময়ী দেবীর সহিত বিবাহবন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হয়ে পড়েন।
