The temple was inaugurated on 2nd August, 2017. The inaugural worship was enchanted by a group of priests from Haridwar (Kankhal) maintaining all rituals continued for three days. Since then, day long worship continues on 2nd August every year. The priest offers puja every day. During Shivaratri special arrangements are made for devotees who offer prayer to the GOD with day long fasting. Nilkantha, is the other name of Lord Shiva. The temple is under the CC TV surveillance.
