Alipurduar Junction Station Parking Area

Small but well maintained NFR railways.. More trains my be put in track like superfast express n even trains like shatabdi because being connected with business city like hasimara jaigaon kalchini and a foreign country "Bhutan" which could really bring help to those traders , because depending upon one two train in whole day is quite rushfull.

Very beautiful place 😍 and a range of mountain were seen nearby

Alipurduar Junction is the head quarter of Alipurduar division of Northeast Frontier Zone of Indian Railways
Alipurduar is also the district head quarter of Alipurduar District in the state of West Bengal. The Dooars Kanya is the administrative headquarter of the district.
Alipurduar District shares its borders with
Bhutan and Assam in the North and northeast and Coochbehar and Jalpaiguri districts also.
The last Indian town of Jaigaon that actually is the entry gate of Phuentsholing is approx 60k km from here. Private taxis and public transport vehicles are available from Alipurduar towards Jaigaon.
Though Alipurduar is a small town but it has four Railway Stations after its names.

Well equipped station with motorable main road right at hand,,ample auto,toto, private four wheelers on-hire for the convenience of the passangers.so many eating house,shops of stationary and sundry items can be had just getting out of the station .In one word, passangers, tourists etc will not face any problem here.

Lots of changes had done. Problem is tresspassing over the bridge. Instead of stairs ramp way may help alot who carries heavy luggage. Porters also friendly nature persons.

Alipurduar Junction station is too good and it is very clean, there station master and all staffs are very helpful there are many platform, when i visited last time lift is under construction, and all over station is also developing. You can get many direct trains from there...

This Junction is actually inside the town ..this route is connected with main route from NJP to Guwahati via Dooars ( Example via Mal Junction, Hasimara , Sevok).
Very scenic route..through the jungles , very popular among tourists, photographers..
Speed limit of trains in this route is restricted..due to track the wild animals..which is justified.For these reason trains reaching Alipurduar Junction little bit late..
Beside this this railway junction is well maintained by NFR.
This is in good location..crowded place ...every communication like Toto ,Auto,Private cabs available from here to hire for touring nearby highly popular tourists spots..like Jayanti..Buxa Tiger Reserve..etc

Alipurduar jn railway station belongs to NF Railway of Alipurduar Division as far railway is concern. It's situated in the Alipurduar district, West Bengal, India.
It's very important junction station as it's connected to Assam. It's an entry point for Assam. Passenger eminities and facilities are adequately available. Operations point of view huge number of mail, express, passenger and goods trains are run over this station.

Most probably the last station of west bengal in the route of NJP - APDJ - ASSAM . From here you can explore Buxa tiger reserve , Buxa fort , Lepchakha , Jayanti River bed , Cooachbihar Raajbari ( palace ) , Rashik Beel .

Many long route trains passes through this station. mainly Guwahati - kolkata, guwahati - delhi, Guwahati - bamanhat and siliguri. It is one of the oldest station in northbengal and oldest route to guwahati and bangladesh.

Big place for parking. We can easily turn our vehicle and keep in proper order.
