Railway station has improved a lot now.
Platforms have been improved. Station is clean. Urinals and waiting rooms have been built. But there is only one ticket counter so passengers have to face a little problem specially during morning hour since most of the trains are in morning. Painting have been drawn on the walls of station to make it look beautiful and promote latehar tourism. Construction of new station has started that will have all the modern facilities.

Good railway station with all basic facilities. Clean and tidy station platforms. Co-operative staff on site.very bad to hear that railway officials recovered two live bombs from track on 9 december 2017 night at about 11.00pm . I heard this news in Gujarat from Gujarati leading daily newspaper named " Gujarat Samachar" on Sunday 10 december 2017.
