Bodhikonda Rockcut Caves

Firstly proud to be a vizianagaram citizen,

* This mountain is neatly carved to inch to inch and i was over
the moon during the entire trek.
* You can find sculptures , idols of olden gods and the main
keyframe of this mountain was the construction of meditating
places on the top of mountain.
* Major view was on the top , It was a little scarry but it has a
valuable worth of risking.
* The monument was certified and protected by
"ARCHAELOGICAL SURVEY OF INDIA"

This place has two ways to reach, either through the ramteertham trek start point or the end point. Both can be accessed by vehicles with caution.

The place does not have any stall nearby and can be reached by foot after walking for 30 mins (from the end point i.e. gurubhakulakonda road ) or in approx 2 hrs (from start point)

The idol which is kept here, is a local deity.

There is a small cave behind the deity, where you should enter and turn around through it.

Also there are some carvings on the floor, look around and you will notice.

In the rain, you can get water which is dripping from the rocks.

Beautiful site.
The view around is amazing. Ancient ruins can b found here. I wonder how would it been it's era. A bit of climb.
