An must visit temple .... Actually this is an old temple which is located at upper side of the hill for that you need to climb it by steps which are around 500 and it's an great experience ... Those who are unable to climb for those there is a new temple below the hill visit it .. but try to visit above temple ... It's an great experience ... Had an great experience

Very nice palce and must visit as it has historically awesome place.
Govt could have improved facilities (Rest rooms, waiting area, prasadam counters etc) to make this is best in class.

Sri Ramaswamy Temple at Ramatheertham is a ancient temple which is believed to be 1000 years old and Sri Rama Chandra Swamy is the Preceding Deity. Ramatheertham is 13 km from Vijaynagaram District in Andhra Pradesh State. Ramatheertham Sri Ramaswamy Temple built on a huge rock on a hill named Bavikonda where river Champa flows at the foot of Neelachalam Hills. Puranas says the idols of Sri Rama, Sita Devi and Lakshmana was installed and worshipped by Pandavas Kings during there 12 years vanavasam.

Temple Timings: 5.00 AM and 8.00 PM.

ramatheertham is in vizianyanagaram .
it takes 2hrs 30 mins journey from vizag.
this place is really awesome with beautiful nature.
this a trekking place when u go to this place carry water bottle .
wear comfortable shoes and clothes ( i wore traditional dress and sandals i know how i suffered )
first u need to climb 400 stairs , then you need to climb sloppy hill . .
dont be hurry climb stairs slowly bcz there is alot to walk .
after climbing all stairs and sloppy hill u will see a small temple of lord rama ,
this is not well maintained but just do some prayers there ,
next u will see a small pond which is more than 1000ft depth dont get inside that unless u want to die .
walk more u will see small budha cave
u need to crawl inside it . but after crawling the view will be awesome .

be careful when u go there it is sloppy u may fall down and nobody can find you.
go there at early morning around 7.00am bcz u can see those floating clouds and amazing sounds of birds..

Beautiful very old temple constructed by Vijayanagara Gajapathis in 16th century. The temple was built in kalinga architecture. The idols in the sanctum sanctorum were kept by Paandavas in Dwapara yuga. Very peaceful Rama temple, without Hanuma idol (Rama did not meet Hanuma by then).

Beautiful and pleasant temple in vizianagaram. Must visit this temple. And also visit the Ram mandir on top of the hill. And also reach the top of the temple by 3 pm so that you can enjoy the sunset from there.

It's a temple of lord Rama. It's a nice place to visit. We can get some peace and it's very clean and there is a hill to visit which has historic places like Buddha temple. Pandavas also visited that hill according to history.
