This is Chief Hindu temple dedicated to God Hanumaan, the famous Monkey God described in Hindu Epic, The Ramayan. Lord Hanumaan is lord of Physical strength, Astrology, Mathematics, Music, Dedication and he is devotee of Lord Ram. He is one of most worshipped Gods in Hindus throughout the world since time eternal. Here Lord Hanumaan is said to come to fight against two young lads who had obstructed Horse of Lord Ram which meant, the rule of Lord Ram was challenged. When Hanuman realised that the Lads were no other but actually sons of Lord Ram, Hanumaan surrendered and princes tied Hanuman with a tree.
A Temple in memory of this tale is built here. That tree is still alive in this temple.
