RNSIT CSE Department

I graduated from RNSIT Computer Science Engineering in 2021. There are so many great things about the college and the department but I've tried to highlight few of them below :

1. Faculty: The CSE department at RNSIT College boasts highly experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are dedicated to providing quality education. They are approachable and readily available to address students' queries and concerns, creating a supportive learning environment.

CSE department is one of the best department in RNSIT. It has a wonderful set of faculty with great teaching that constantly push the students to get their fundamentals strong. Regular lab sessions allows students to experiment and gain more practical knowledge about the subjects. All the lecturers and professors are approachable and hence one can seek good guidance from them. Events like coding challenges, hackathons, tech talk by industry experts, project presentations, technical competitions and fests etc.., happens all round the year giving adequate exposure to students. Campus selection here is good with highest placements from CSE department. Pre-placement training and mock interviews are conducted to make the students industry ready. Overall one can get a good experience here.

I am a Student of RNSIT. From the moment I stepped foot on the RNSIT campus, I felt a sense of belonging and warmth. The faculty members welcomed me with open arms, fostering an environment conducive to learning and personal development. The campus became my second home, a place where I could freely explore my interests and passions.
Amidst the myriad of student clubs, Adroit Club caught my attention with its vibrant energy and innovative spirit. I was immediately drawn to their vision of promoting creativity and technology-driven projects. It was a perfect match for my own aspirations, and I eagerly joined the club, ready to embark on an exciting journey.
Overall its been a great experience to study at RNSIT

RNSIT is one of the best college.I am a student of cse department, cse department is very helpful. And the faculties are very much supportive. They have taken a lot of initiatives to help students such as conducting hackathons, workshops, talks from experts. CSE has started AdroIt club that focuses on technologies such as Blockchain, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity and other domains. AdroIt has personally helped me upskill. Overall its a great experience being part of this department.

RNSIT has been the place for excellence and is shaping our future. Just not the infrastructure, the environment encourages us to progress individually.
Computer Science and Department is the best department in RNSIT which grooms you with basics and strong fundamentals . It is very friendly department which initiates lot of activities to benefit the students. Some of the activities are regular coding contests, TechInt program,Joy Of Coding and seminars from industrial experts. Department promotes Student clubs to build leadership qualities in students. One such club that I'm part of is AdroIT.
AdroIT is the new generation technical club of CSE department which was initiated to promote low coding job avenues and educate the students about various job opportunities available in domains like Data Analytics,Cybersecurity and Blockchain.
I've been the Networking head at AdroIT and I was able to upskill myself at a much impressive rate. The club conducts lot of activities which includes Pep talks from industrial experts ,Hands-on workshop, hackathons and project seminars.
I personally thank department of CSE and Head of Department(HOD) Dr.Kiran. P sir continuous support and guidance.

I feel RNSIT is one of the best colleges in Bengaluru to do engineering, I personally have gained immense knowledge from the Computer Science Department, being a biology student from PUC
The best thing overall about the college is the vibe and opportunity the place provides. Teachers have good connections with professors everywhere

Currently pursuing my computer science engineering at RNSIT,it's been my pleasure to be a student of this college that brings many opportunities for the students to grow and learn about trending technologies. Department of CSE is playing major role in enhancing students knowledge in various technologies. As a part of CSE department the AdroIT club aims at enriching students knowledge in technologies that require less coding like cybersecurity, data analytics and block chain by conducting pep talks and hands on session.

I am a student from CSE Department at RNSIT. The department has done alot of activities in terms of enhancing our skills and expertise, through activities like Joy of Coding and conducting hackathons. The CSE Department has introduced a new club, called Adroit, which is a low code club which focuses on domains like Data Analytics, Blockchain, CyberSecurity, SEO, Digital Maketing, DevOps, etc. The club has managed to become very popular among the students, as it is a new approach towards growing in the field of computer science. The club has conducted a variety of workshops, hackathons, expert talks, hands on sessions by industry experts. The club has helped us alot in gaining new perspectives and new skills.

The CSE Department at RNSIT is dedicated to enhancing the skills and expertise of its students through various activities such as the Joy of Coding and hackathons. A new club called Adroit has been introduced, focusing on low code and exploring domains like Data Analytics, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, SEO, Digital Marketing, and DevOps. This unique approach has gained immense popularity among students, providing them with opportunities to grow in the field of computer science. The club has successfully organized workshops, hackathons, expert talks, and hands-on sessions conducted by industry experts. It has played a significant role in broadening students' perspectives and equipping them with valuable new skills.

RNSIT is a great place to pursue engineering for any student. The placement opportunities are really good and the faculty gives every student individual attention and guidance to achieve their goals.

Rnsit Ise department has outstanding faculty and provides top notch education. I have been the student of RNSIT ISE, department and they have given me immense guidance and support to achieve my goals. I have secured 6th rank in VTU under ISE department. Placement support is excellent...and there are endless opportunities.

RNSIT's Information Science and Engineering department has a very good track record of high potential and caliber students. ISE is highly preferred branch and most vibrant in the campus. Now, ISE department has an intake of 240 from 2023-24 academic year. Students at ISE have diversified talents and have secured university ranks and also many extra-curricular awards at state and national level competitions both in technical and non-technical events.

The college has very good atmosphere . Faculties are very friendly and they teach us very well in classroom and even in lab they interact with us and help us to learn . Induction programme was also well organised we had so many activities that help us to learn so many things.

I am incredibly proud to be an alumnus of RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore. As I reflect upon my years at this esteemed institution, I cannot help but feel immense gratitude towards the entire management and faculty for providing me with countless opportunities that have shaped my personal and professional life. From 2009 to 2013, I had the privilege of being a part of the Department of Information Science, and the experiences I gained during my time at RNSIT have been invaluable.

One aspect that truly stands out about RNSIT is its unwavering commitment to nurturing holistic development. Not only did the college focus on academic excellence, but it also placed significant emphasis on fostering a vibrant and well-rounded student community. I had the honor of serving as the Cultural Activity Team Secretary, which allowed me to explore and showcase my creative talents. This role not only bolstered my leadership skills but also gave me a platform to interact with diverse individuals and develop lasting connections.

Furthermore, being the Technical Head of the college magazine provided me with a unique opportunity to delve into the world of communication and content creation. It allowed me to refine my writing skills, explore innovative ideas, and share knowledge with my peers. The magazine became a platform to express creativity, highlight achievements, and foster intellectual discussions within the student community.

In addition to these responsibilities, my passion for sports led me to participate in throwball competitions. RNSIT's support for extracurricular activities not only allowed me to pursue my sporting interests but also instilled in me a sense of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. These qualities have been instrumental in shaping my professional journey.

One of the most impactful aspects of my time at RNSIT was the exposure to presenting papers and writing notes. These activities not only honed my research and analytical skills but also gave me the confidence to communicate effectively in public. The opportunity to be the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for numerous events provided me with invaluable experience in public speaking, a skill that has proven to be invaluable throughout my career.

Moreover, the faculty members at RNSIT played an instrumental role in my growth and development. Their dedication, knowledge, and passion for teaching inspired me to constantly strive for excellence. The hands-on learning approach and emphasis on practical applications of concepts have equipped me with the necessary skills to tackle real-world challenges in the field of Information Science.

In conclusion, my journey as an RNSITian has been nothing short of extraordinary. The college has not only provided me with an excellent education but has also empowered me with a wide range of skills that extend beyond the realm of academia. The exposure to various extracurricular activities, the encouragement to step out of my comfort zone, and the opportunities to lead and grow have been invaluable in shaping my personal and professional growth.

I am a graduate of Information Science and Engineering at RNS Institute of Technology. I want to express my appreciation for the excellent infrastructure provided for the SAP ABAP course hosted by capgemini in the department to be quite comprehensive and informative .

It was very helpful as young graduates to upskill.The trainer helped us with the hands on implementation of the concepts. We are glad to have recieved the course certificate and receive placement support .
Now i am confident i can build my career in SAP ABAP. Thanks to my department ISE.

The department has very good faculty. The department organised the induction program very well. Faculties are very interactive with students and help us to learn new things.They provide quality notes which will help us in sem exam also .

RNSIT is one of the best college in Bangalore. Faculties of CSE department are knowledgeable and are always ready to help students. Placement is great as well.

The information science and Engineering Department provides a comprehensive education that prepares students for a dynamic and rapidly evolving digital landscape.They can work as software engineers,data analysts, cybersecurity specialist , I.T.Consultants and more.

RNSIT cse department is a very active department of this college. It conducts a lot of workshops and talks and it is really helpful. I have attended the blockchain workshop it was very beginner friendly as a beginner it helped me a lot got me interested in blockchain

I felt comfortable from the day 1 of engineering just because of my ise department faculties. I have a hobby of photography and every faculty member have been very supportive. I'm blessed to be in this department!
