Narmada Kaveri Sangam Omkareshwar

Heavenly place. Mighty Narmada flowing around quietly. Shorelines on both sides. Shiva lingam at the water edge. Halfway in the Manyata Parikrama.

Absolutely amazing place. The peace of mind, thrill of waves, excitement of splashing water all at one place. This is the place on mandhata island where kaveri and narmada rivers joins (sangam). There is a small temple here with a shivling and mata narmada idol. Nearby is the temple Rin Mukteshwar Mahadev Mandir where we offer Daal on Shiva linga and also here are goats and langoor which eat from your hand and it feels really exciting. Har Har Mahadev 🙏🏻

How to reach?
Take a boat for Full parikrama. They will take you to the spot and you can have few peacefull minutes here.
Or you can also walk along the shore of island and reach there.
This palce is beautiful in a way that it will sooth your mind to peace.

Narmada Kaveri Sangam is located in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is the confluence of the Narmada and Kaveri rivers. The two rivers meet twice before Omkareshwar Dam, where they get separated for the first time. After separation, both of them build Omkar Parvat/Omkareshwar Parikrama, where Lord Shiva himself lives with his family. The two rivers merge again just after Omkareshwar. This place is considered very sacred and there is one Jyotirlinga here in Omkareshwar.

This place is situated in omkareshwar, ujjain. It is the sangam for two rivers. One is Kaveri and another is Narmada in Madhya Pradesh. Very sacred place and 1 jyotirling is here in omkareshwar. Very fresh air and beautiful view in the lap of nature. Visited last week in December starting, weather was pleasant and nice. One must visit this place.

Sangam is 2km away from omkareshwar temple. It's holy place of omkareshwar. Just because of 3 rivers meet up this place. Sangam is famous place in hindu religion. It's very cleaned water to bath and drinking.

Took a dip on this Sangam with my friends while on a boat ride doing the 'Parikarama'. Please mention it to the boat rider that you want to take a dip on Sangam while doing the Parikarama.

It is better to go there at morning 6 o clock as it is the best time to enjoy the nature here a religious place and the meeting point of 2 rivers of River Narmada and the River Kaveri the weather is wery pleasent in the winters and not much crowded

This is very excellent and must place to visit and it comes in between when you do Mandhata Parikrama which starts from Omkareshwar Jyotirling. Parikrama is of 7 kms approx.
