But it only opens after 9:30 in the morning. I went there at around 7:45 AM and waited till 9:30 AM for the entry gates to open. Please do plan accordingly to avoid any sort of inconvenience.

This beautiful lake located just near the city of Itanagar. The view is mesmerising. Untouched by any human invasion. The path that leads to the other side of the lake where you can ho boating is so serene. But the only problem is the road that leads to this place, it's just horrible. At first we were thinking about turning our wheel back but gathered our courage and faced the odds and it was all worth it.

In the natures lap you will find this pristine lake close to itanagar city. The approach road to the lake is horrible; only off road vehicles can ply on the road. However it is only 3 to 4 km stretch which is bad; rest is managable. The entry fee is per person Rs. 50. Closes around 5 pm. You have option for boating as well; which charges 150 for 2 persons. One can take a round trip of the lake which is beautiful and worth taking. The round trip of the lake is 2.2 km.

Visited on 3/4/22. Very nice place. If you are visiting Biological park (zoo) in Itanagar, the lake is just a couple of kms away with some bad patches of road.

₹50/head for entry. Moderately strenuous in terms of climbing the steps and visiting almost half of the lake perimeter (1 km+) but highly recommended. Keep at least 2 hours for visit. Sunny days and rains would make the lake & surrounding entirely different, both recommended.

It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is a huge lake located among big and beautiful mountains. It has clean water. If you are at Itanagar you must visit this place. You can also enjoy a ride of paddle boat. This is a calm and serene place. You can hangout here with friends and family.

Beautiful and very big lake located in Itanagar and also one of the most famous place to visit in Itanagar. Very peaceful place and people from Itanagar and nearby places come with family and friends to hangout. Boating service is also available. The entry fee to the lake is Rs. 20 for adults. A very good place to spend the quality time with dear ones from fast moving busy schedule.

One of the places of attraction in Itanagar. The road leading upto this beautiful lake is 6.5kms from the city.Mostly via private vehicles. The route has lots of pots and holes considering its a hilly road,where landslides frequently happen.Very picturesque view leading up to the Lake. Entry pass is around 10 Bucks per person.Once you set foot in the abode, we can actually admire the peace, tranquility, serenity of the place, untouched by population. Can take a stroll around a lake which takes around 45 mints. There are boat rides within the lake.A childrens Park is also to be seen within the premises.Surrounded amidst hills on all sides it has that dark green appearence. Lots of Leeches around the place..so be careful not to get bitten.

Around 7 KM away from main road is this lake Ganga.
We visited in February 2022 and the road conditions were pathetic, so many deep pot holes.
Entry ticket 50 adult.
Lake remain open 10 am to 4pm only.
You need to climb around 50 stairs to reach the lake view point from the entry point.
Lake is big and beautiful.
Although due to covid pandemic the boating was closed and other amenities were not maintained.
Its a natural place with human intervention.
You need to walk on a cemented path constructed around the lake.

Please..,please...,please....,go there ones in your life time...., I am not promoting this place are advertising this place just go there and feel for your self and comment about the place.., just no words coming out of my mouth after seeing this..., That too with my lovable friend it makes the place most memorable for me....,

Pretty place to see while visiting Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. People who loves to trek, wild floras can get such experience.

Very beautiful, peaceful, natural beauty.

No words describe the beauty of this lake as it is covered completely with mountains and the mountains are very beautiful. The lake's water is also clear. You can come here for picnic with your friends and family. There is a paddle boat point where you can ride on a paddle boat. For reaching near it you should walk on a beautiful way as there are small falls on bottom of way. The place is like a paradise in summer I suggest you to go there and enjoy a lot.

Ganga Lake is a must visit place in Itangar.

This is also known as Ganga lake but the local calls it "Geker Sinying" this place is surrounded by the beautiful green Hills and greenery all around. This is the perfect place for boating. If you are willing to release your all stress do visit here for the boating because this place will make you feel like you are paradise.

Entry fee is charges so high ie ₹50.. Itanagar to lake road conditions is so pathethatic....
One of the best place to hiking alone...

If u love taking a walk...this place is certainly for you.
