The place is located around 65 km from Jodhpur on Jodhpur - Jaipur highway 8 km off highway after Kaparda in Bala village. A serene Gaushala and temple welcomes visitors all round the years in ashram established revered Saint of Marwar Shri Bala Sati Maa who blessed this place and vicinity with her presence for 40+ years.

The devotees include Jodhpur His Highness, Lt. Gen Hanut Singh ji Jasol, Air Vice Marshall Chandan Singh ji, Jaswant Singh ji Jasol, Dr Rajendra Prasad, Shailesh Lodha, Brigadier Hari Singh ji Bagawas, among others.

Its ideal place for people who seek seers and their lila sthali for spiritual progress. Various Hindu festivals mark the calender of events specially Basant Panchami, Janamashtami and Kartik Poornima.

It was my first visit since I born .....till the national highway the road was good and somewhere it was under construction ...but as soon as we take diversion for the temple ....the road gets worsted all the way to destination. Once you reach at the temple it's a true place of spirituality.....you can really feel the peace of mind.
I highly recommend to visit that dhaam where sati mata spent her 12 holy years to meditate. This place is around 3-4 km from the main temple.

A temple though far from any prominent location, is itself just that. The temple premises is huge and the temple has been built with red sandstone. Great stone work and atmosphere is amazing. Sati maa is sacred to Rajputs but is also revered by some other classes. A mela/fare is held on kartik poornima and you would find a lot of devotees coming on this day specially. Loved it here. Jai Maa bala sati.

It's a holy place . That is why we love. It's place of great guru maa who live without food and water for almost 43 years. She was a great saint
