As such Bundi is a small and dirty place but it has a gem in the form of Garh Palace. There is a entry ticket as almost all of it is still owned by Royals of Bundi. There is a small free parking near the entrance but you may find a irritating and rude woman claiming to be parking attendant. Beware of her, she is a fraud. There are strange rules as one can use mobile to take pictures and make videos but one cannot use selfie stick. Inside Garh Palace there are different palaces constructed by different kings. All worth visiting like Badal Mahal. King's throne made of marble is unique and amazing. There is also Chitralekha with beautiful garden, shivling and a gallery of Bundi's paintings. Chitralekha is maintained by Archeological Survey of India and paintings are stunningly beautiful. Also inside Garh Palace is the Bundi fort. The fort covers the whole of the hills which surround Bundi. Inside the fort one has to be very careful as wild monkeys are there and they do attack. Go in big groups and carry sturdy sticks. I loved Garh Palace, if you are unfortunate to be in Bundi due to some bad luck, you can still visit Garh Palace to redeem bad luck.

If you are looking for a haunted place but you can’t go to bhangarh in jaipur this place is a hell yaa to your desire to go to a haunted place only suggestion don’t go in evening go to atleast 1 pm to explore all hills and forts and carry abundant water as there is no water source inside

Breath taking view from top of the Fort. But nowadays top location is closed due to some dispute. It is a private property. It is not government undertaking. Entry fee is Rs 80 fir Indians. Very calm &, Silent location. Good for pre wedding shoot. Foreigners are keen to view this Fort. Main attraction is paintings inside the Fort. Paintings represent medieval art of India.
This Fort is surrounded by many roof top restaurants, cafes and hotels.

The garh palace🏯 is such a beautiful and magical place, even with the loss of all the glory today. The main entrance and the 'Diwan-e-aam' have some intricate carvings. The 'chitrashala' that is the painting👩🏻‍🎨 school has some beautiful frescos depicting different scenarios from the hindu mythology as well as from the history of the kingdom of Bundi. You won't see hordes of tourists here, which makes the place look quite spooky. It is so unfortunate that such a gem is left in the ruins,due to no maintenance whatsoever...

Bundi is not listed in the top-rated tourist places in Rajasthan but the Bundi Fort is not only huge but full of surprises and grandeur. During my visit here last week the fort entrance impressed me with a well-paved and accessible entrance and neat ticket windows on one side whose exteriors were decorated with Rajasthani art paintings. I also found that there was huge accessible parking adjacent to the entrance. There are as many as 5 huge ramps each one posing a challenge to climb up and it was fun beating the challenge. this is the first of the 5 ramps. Inside the fort are grand passages and richly decorated royal chambers. The gates and doors of the Ratan Daulat Mahal Palace have elephant tusk or Ivory embedded some of which were taken away by visitors over time. Another attraction on the rooftop of the palace is the Piegion hostel that had trained pigeons that carried messages far and wide to nearby kingdoms or Riyasats.Another amazing masterpiece inside the Bundi Fort's Badal Mahal or Cloud Palace is a huge royal swing that is at least 80 feet tall and richly decorated. It must have been an amazing experience for the royal ladies who enjoyed this swing.

This palace was such a surprise. From the outside it appears to be nothing more than a ruin. But once inside there are rooms with original painted walls. It was well worth the climb to see them

Garh Palace of Bundi is a strong and Luxurious Fort, that was made to be defended during war. It also has beautiful interiors of the Badal Mahal and Fool (Flower) Mahal, along with Jhula Chowk. Chitrakala has Bundi style of painting works which had some distinctive feature. For instance, the flowing rivers, dense forests, lush green fields of Bundi region, dramatic night skies, a distinctive way of depicting water by light swirls against a dark background, and vivid movement. This style of indian miniature painting lasted 17th Century. This Fort gives you unique experience.

The view of Bundi city from top of Taragarh Fort is simply mesmerizing. You can see the Fortress wall around all the hills surrounding Garh Palace.

Maharao Balwant Singh started the construction of Garh Palace in Bundi. The Garh Palace is the complex of numerous palaces which were built by rulers of different times. Most of the palaces were built between the 17th and 18th centuries. After a long period of neglection Garh palace again gaining its recognition.

Garh Palace is known for its artistic Rajput style architecture which can be easily seen in its Jharokhas and pillars. Among other palaces which are famous for their decoration like Chhatra Mahal, Phool Mahal and Badal Mahal, there is a somewhat separate Ummed Mahal, famously known as ‘Chitrashala‘. Chitrashala has fascinating pavilion and a gallery of miniature murals located on a raised platform above a garden platform

Not less than 5 stars on cultural front but yes there are restoration is going on and will come out with some good results

750 year old palace and unique paintings are there and it's beautiful place to visit and it's a unique palace it's architect design is undescribed and it's is said that bundi fort and palace is built by angels that is not possible for human so beautiful carving water and drainage system and all are marvelous but lack of mentinance is spoiling things so it's our duty to take care of it
