Frequencies of flight ✈❤ is less and need to improve the connectivity with other cities like Mumbai, Bangalore . Till today only 1 Direct flight available from Delhi, Spicejet ✈.

Kushinagar airport is an international airport that was licenced on August 21 to work as a customs-notified movement serving Buddhist pilgrims and international and national passengers. The airport is being built as a joint venture by the AAI (Airport Authority of India) and the state government of Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi inaugurated the Kushinagar airport officially on October 20, 2021, on Abhidhamma Day at Kushinagar, saying that it would improve the aviation sector and simplify international tourism through Buddhist pilgrims across the world.

Location: Kushinagar airport is situated 54 km east of Gorakhpur airport and 34 km from Deoria.

Characteristics: Kushinagar international airport operates a single runway measuring 3.2 km (10,000 ft) long and 45 m (148 ft) wide, holding number 11/29. The ramp of an airport can easily accommodate five Boeing 737-900 Next Generation aircraft at a time

After analyzing various factors, I have found that there are no direct flights to Bangalore. Most people rely on connecting flights such as Gorakhpur-Hyderabad-Bangalore (GOP-HYD-BLR), Varanasi-Bangalore (VNS-BLR), or Lucknow-Bangalore (LKO-BLR). Additionally, the number of flights to Bangalore from Lucknow and Gorakhpur is quite limited. The region has a significant population of IT and other professionals who frequently travel to Bangalore. If there were a direct flight from Kushinagar to Bangalore instead of Kushinagar to Kolkata, it would likely attract a large number of travelers from Kushinagar.

Very nice airport but there's is no any international flights government not giving any permission for international flights

Newly built terminal, kept very clean. Happy to such a clean washroom with tissue paper etc. the area acquired is very large, Airport Link Road operational connecting to main National Highway so no need to go into city traffic. Only one ATR 80 seater regular flight of SpiceJet in operation connecting to Delhi. Airport infrastructure is large and can manage 20 -40 large aircraft each day easily. At least far far better than Gorakhpur airport where goods get stolen from checked in luggage.

Kushinagar Airport has proved to be a mill stone for Kushinagar and its surrounding districts. It is writing new edifice in the development of Kushinagar district.

Excellent building which was built to serve a great purpose. The flight path inward and outward is always brilliant with views of the Himalayas from the window seats of the plane. The airport itself has good facilities and fast services being provided.

Kushinagar is now 3rd international Airport in Uttar Pradesh.

Auto rickshaws are not allowed inside hence they keep waiting outside, if you need them for local commute, then you will have to go out side by walk.

Best airport 🛫 in purvanchal region. It is game changer for eastern Bihar and Gorakhpur mandal. The facilities in airport is of top class. Some works are under progress after it's completion it will provide more facilities like resturant, shopping complex, etc.

flight for Mumbai Kolkata Pune ... Should be start.. Atleast people from Area City like Gopal Ganj and Near By Can easily access.. Congestion will be Reduced from Gorakhpur airport... people are not aware regarding flight from Kushinagar..No advertisment

Great airpot connect international travellers

This new airport is like a gift to people of W.Champaran. It may be very small and with just 2-3 flights in a week but it serves the purpose. I recently traveled to Delhi by SpiceJet (SpiceJet is only available currently) and my experience was good. Whether it was cleanliness, security or airport staffs..all was satisfactory. Only thing bothered me, why they are operating ATR on Delhi-Kushinagar route? It is long route with 2 hours of flying time and at least A320 neo should be used. Rest all OK 👍
