Gandi Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple is a popular pilgrimage destination for Hindus. The temple is believed to be a powerful place of worship. had the opportunity to visit Gandi Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple a few years ago. I was immediately struck by the beauty of the temple and the surrounding area. The temple is a place of great peace and tranquility. I felt a sense of peace and well-being as I prayed at the temple.

**Sri Veeranjaneya**, a form of the Hindu god **Anjaneya** or **Hanuman**². He is worshipped at **Sri Gandi Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple**², which is located at **Gandi**, a village in **Kadapa District** of **Andhra Pradesh**²³. The temple is situated on the western side of the **River Papaghni** amid scenic surroundings. It is also known as a **Vayu Kshetra**, a place where the wind god **Vayu**, the father of Anjaneya, is said to have welcomed **Lord Rama** on his return journey from **Lanka**²³. The temple has a history that dates back to the period of the **Ramayana**, the ancient epic that narrates the life and deeds of Rama and his allies². The temple attracts many devotees, especially in the month of **Sravana**³.

- To reach the temple, one can travel 55 km from **Cuddapah** city or 8 km from **Vempalli** on the Vempalli-Rayachoty route.
- The temple is famous for its stone **praakaaram** (enclosure) around the sanctum sanctorum, which was built by **Tirupathi Seshanna** in 1911³.
- The temple also has another idol of Anjaneya, called **Abhayahasta Anjaneya**, which is believed to have been carved by **Lord Rama** himself with his arrow on a rock².

I had been to the temple long back few years ago and again visited on 4th Aug 2023. Veera Anjaneya swamy (Lord Hanuman). Temple construction is in progress. Nitya anna dhaanam, Good parking place, Mineral water, Rest rooms, Small toys, food and snakcs settings stalls available.

Beautiful Temple, Situated at Gandi, a village in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Anjaneya. This place has a narrow passage for the Papagni river to flow in between the hills.

The journey started from Galiveedu town and passed through hilly terrain witnessing the canvases of nature. Reached the location Gandi kshetra located on the bank of river Papaagni which seems like a natural threshold to the abode of lord Hanuman. The air, the soil, the water, the food, and the entire environment was so peaceful and dragging us into the divine mood. Totally a Must visit temple..

Gandi Veera Anjaneya swamy temple resides beside the Papagni river, Historically the image of lord anjaneya swamy statue was carved by the lord Rama while on his way to vanavasam, where Rama forgot to carve his left little finger . The location of the temple is surrounded by the beautiful nature of mountains and beautiful river . The present temple is under renovation, The original carved statue is closed for darshan

One more day, another Hanuman temple visit. I've just loved being here and being blessed by Lord Hanuma. Pls follow the Google timings to visit this temple and loved the view at the river side papagni.

Temple was very old but very good. The papagni river was also good and clean water. First we should go to the river and fresh ourselves and then we have to go for darshan. Every one must visit this place.

Giving 5 star for my belief and the legend of the place . Moreover it was a good experience and felt the connection with the place.

Located on the papagni river this is a place of worship for numerous devotees.

Do visit and make sure you witness to the might of Lord Hanuman.

Sri Gandi Veera Anjaneya Swamy Temple is one of the famous temple in Kadapa (Rayalaseema) AP. This Temple is under TTD maintained. It was located in between two hills and behind the paapagni river , Gandi location. This river flows between two hills in this location and the temple was located one side hill area and the opposite hill there is one more temple was there it was a famous Sivalayam. When ever I visit this place my mind will get refreshed and every time gives fresh energy to do new things . The Lord Anjaneya in this temple having lot of history from Ramayana time.
Another great importance to this place is that if new vehicles and any other purchased vehicle's are worshiped here there is no big accidents happens for those vehicles and believe that a lot of good happens to those vehicles and that is true
if we need rooms here have a TTD rooms and also having Haritha tourisam resort hotel as well.

The Temple with history of Lord Shri Ram visiting this place. River Papagni flows beside the temple, but now still no water in Papagni river. And Lord Shiva temple on the other side of the river, devotees cross the river and enjoy the unique experience.

Anjaneya temple, carry a coconut or buy it in front of the temple around 30 rupees, move into the temple where you find a ticket counter to perform puja, costs start from a minimum of 10 rupees, perform darshan. Anjaneya where most of the devotees wear themselves or to their kids, costs around 30 rupees. After darshan you can crack coconuts outside of the temple. Much space side to the temple atmosphere. On the way to exit one can find a stall of prasada which costs 50 rupees. temple car parking fees 50/- , parking in front of the temple.Near hotels and restaurants no you go to vempalli town distance was 3km

Nice atmosphere and good energy around. You will find lot of monkeys around and one carrying fruits or eatables must be careful.
These monkeys are treated as images of Veera Anjaneya and treated with food by most of the devotees.
AP tourism provides cottages just at walkable distance from main temple.

This is one of the sacred temple of lord hanuman.. Itbjs one of the historical place.. Visit it once .. It is near vempalli.. There will be koneru in sand with no depth.. Even children can play themselves in it.. Laddus will be like tirupati laddu.. It took by ttd too.. Everything is fine here.. You can have rooms too for your needs.. Thank you....

Sri veeranjaneya temple or Gandi kshetram ..it is a hind hu temple situated at ga nd I,a village in kadapa district of A.P in India.this temple is dedicated to lord anjaneya...really i like this place..sorrundings environment is too good...it seems peaceful..one of the visiting place in A.P.
