Mahadev is love and life.
This temple lies on the bank of Shree Yamuna near BrahmandGhat to its east. Chintaharan Mahadev, who is worshipped by the Brijwasis, is present here. When Mother Yashoda saw the universes in Kanhaiya’s mouth, she became extremely anxious for His welfare and prayed to ChintaharanMahadev for Krishna’s safety. Chintaharan means “removing anxieties”.
Must Visit place if you are in Mathura slightly far from the Central mathura but you can get Auto and Electric vehicles to cover your trip.

Shiv ji mandir. Very peaceful. Has Yamuna ghat too. Beautifully built. You can spot too many peacocks there. Be there for aarti at 7. It’s amazing. Serene. Shiv ji mandir. You can do donations and feed the poor too. You should remember yo leave your footwear in your car itself because there is no place to store them when you remove them to enter the mandir. It is very peaceful tho. Can sit there for hours

Very peaceful place to go. Here your all tensions go away and you can feel peaceful. Try to come here once and feel the stress going out from your life.

Chintaharan mahadev's temple is one of the oldest temple of Mahavan. It's from Dwaparyuga.

This is the same place where lord Shiva removed tension of Ma Yashoda. When you visit Ramanreti, don't forget to visit Chintaharan Mahadev.

One of the best place for me or the devotee who wants to do Puja directly without the help of priest. Here after you brought puja materials can to puja on Shiv linga directly by pouring water, milk to flowers. Lord shami, shree Radhe Krishna temple is inside just adjacent to it is present. Just need little bit more neat & clean. Beautiful river site is there.

This temple is believed to be the place where Yashoda Maa (mother of Lord Krishna) came to pray Lord Shiva about the future of her child after she saw a glimpse of the whole universe in his mouth. The ghats around the temple are much better and clean than what you see normally near a tourist attraction. The temple has an aura of its own.

One of the peaceful and few places where one gets to pray to Mahadev up close. Lot of reviews have explained the story, other than that, do get Pooja articles and offer to Lord Shiva. Very calm place and feels very relaxing. No entry fee. Parking is available.

Near to Brahmanda Ghat, on the bank of river Yamuna is located a small shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva in his form known as Chintaharan Mahadev i.e. the god who liberates the soul of all worries as Chinta means worries and Haran means to take away. The shrine is named so after the legend, that when mother Yashoda saw entire universe in the small mouth of her dear son Krishna, she was too worried about Krishna. Suddenly she heard a voice telling her to visit the saint living on the bank of river Yamuna. This holy saint was none other than Lord Shiva who was meditating at the place to have the sight of the beautiful image of the Lord Krishna in his child form.

Parking is easily available. Monday is crowded day.
Small tea Shops and other eatables are easily available.

Note: Keep Environment Clean and Green.
