It is an important railway station. Three platform and a over bridge is there. Here reserve and unreserved ticket sell. Huge shop are there that is occupying most of platform no 1.

This is a big city close to kolkata ( 1hr from sealdah stn). It is popular for big markets. Un othorised data said that Habra is 2nd bigest market of india after Barobazar.

The best place for me as far cause it's the closest supermarket for people living in Guma, and also it's not easier to visit Esplanade again and again.(the best market for brand/non brand items at a favourable price). I usually travel via train and reach within 7-10mins.

The station is now restructured, new ticket counter is so nice. But the problem is the platforms are occupied by vendors, so the passangers have too much trouble to walk.

As a Tier 2 city it's amazing. In Station ar platform 1 best kochuri you get. The city is also clean and the sewage system is also good which keeps it neat and clean.Many modern education schools are also there with good environment.

Habra railway station is one of the busiest railway station on Bongaon line. About 100 trains leave from there every day and people from Nagarukhra also use Habra for their journey to Kolkata. Habra has 3 platforms. Down trains stop at Platform Number 3 and 2 and up trains leave from platform 1 and local from 2.
