James Street is a railway station in Secunderabad. The station was built in 1874 and was the second station after Secunderabad station on the Hyderbad–Wadi sector by Nizam State Railways.
The station derives it name from erstwhile James Street located adjacent to this station. This street after independence was later renamed as Mahatma Gandhi Road. Other localities such as Rani Gunj and the Hussain Sagar lake are accessible from this station.

Very cute railway station, near to Secunderabad main station, historic station, close to Ranigunj and Paradise hotel. You can go to Mahankali Temple easily, most of the people who travel to Hi-tech city take a train here, parking charges are a little high but very easy access

Surprisingly this station remains clean most of the time and there are lots of A LOT nearby bakeries n restaurants if u wanna grab something to eat and it is the nearest station to kims hospital with a walkable distance. This station has a nice parking space.

Close to Ranigunj and Paradise hotel. You can go to Mahankali Temple easily, most of the people who travel to Hi-tech city take a train here
