The Dadhikar Fort, Alwar

The place is rustic and quaint.
The distance from the city works in its favour. There is no noise, no pollution, no disturbance. The ambiance is just outstanding.
Recommend visiting in the evening as it gets quite scenic with the lights turned on.
The food is also the high point of the place.
I heard that they also have some folk singing and dancing on the weekends and special occasions. Would love to experience that as well.

Awesome place with superb hospitality. Serene and peaceful. Food was great in taste. Such a big area yet cleanliness is so maintained. A good ambience for enjoyment by the entire family. The evening cultural show is worth to be mentioned. Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our stay. Thanks to the staff and management of The Dadhikar Fort.

It's a great getaway place, it took 2 hrs to reach there from Delhi. Outside city life with few people around is a nice place to stay overnight. Even a nice place if you're thinking of a small destination wedding. Reaching there is a task, but they have maintained the property pretty well.

A beautifully restored old time Fort, this is one of those off beat yet quaint places one would like to stay. It has all the modern facilities intertwined with antique furniture, fittings & old world charm.
The location is off urban limits, allowing for a relaxed & luxurious stay, that too king style.
It's not very far from Alwar city, so stay here if you can.
The palace also allows short visits @₹250 in day time, so you can enjoy the place.

A fantastic location overlooking the Alwar town on top of a hill ... A well conceptualized hotel with the theme ... Charge an entry fee of ₹236 per head and offer a coffee/tea ... Overall a nice outing if you do not have anything to do in Alwar or around

Ideal for small corporate groups and families. Ideal weekend location ( just 3 hrs from Delhi) and royal stay with a beautiful view surrounded by hills. Stay at the fort and visit Musi maharani ki haveli, City Palace , Siliserh, Sariska within two days and one night trip.

Great place to stay for 1-2 days.It is just 2.30 Hrs from Gurgaon and located in very peaceful location. Ambience is great and 9th Century fort has been restored in best possible manner.

An excellent staycation getaway from NCR. A unique fort resort with magnificent views of the Aravalli's. Mr. Shakti, the property manager and the staff are very hospitable and ensure one has a pleasant stay. I stayed with my 1.5 year old kid and they were very accommodative towards the specific food requirements of the kid. The resort is maintained very well to give it a primitive fort look and at the same time, provides a luxurious stay.

Wonderful Fort. Enjoyed every moment specially the Rajasthani Folk dance performance and dancing with the folk artists there. Only approaching is too bad but work is going on. In future it will be a smooth drive. One must visit this fort. Rajasthan Government and locals should take care of this city. So that it can be neat n clean and look beautiful too for the tourists in future.

Nice stay with good food. Bring your reading material as there is no TV and WiFi. Mobile coverage is average. Played table tennis. Cultural program on Saturday evening was good. Road to Fort passes through forest area. It's broken at many places but manageable at slow speed.

Am amazing place ! Cannot beat the ambience and atmosphere here.
