A very beautiful hotel haveli, just on the outskirts of Alwar. The interiors, exteriors and the whole ambience was beautiful and traditional, especially the restaurant and bar. Good service by the staff all throughout.

The experience was amazing!!!
Chilled and relaxing!!
The rooms were big and in the contemporary style with the soothing modifications done so as not to take away the Haveli touch. And right from morning till evening, you would hear so many birds chirping and peacocks and peahens rattle.

The staff was really helpful. They always smiled and greeted well. We stayed there on Saturday and Sunday. And had to leave early on the Monday morning. They were nice enough to pack Paranthas for us at night. :)

They served the food well too. And Bejar roti ( one of their roti which is made from mix grains) was so good to eat. It was being made in the earthern stoves in front of your eyes, which was further adding to the flavor.

Would love to go there again!!

It is a 240 year authentic old haveli which has been now converted to a heritage hotel with all facilities. The ambiance is completely traditional and has an ethnic Rajasthani architecture look that will make you feel like you are a lord of that place. With rooms having private terraces the place give you ample privacy and view and leisure evenings. The food and service is implacable. With a souvenir shop in the complex one can buy memories from the place. They will arrange a jeep for night safari and other activates. In total you will have great memories to take back with you.

Best place to witness Rajasthani hospitality. Serene, green and lovely. Staff is caring beyond belief. Located outside the city din. Lush green gardens and grounds along with open gyms and the haweli theme designed rooms are a pleasure to stay at. The food is mouth watering and delicious.

A great place for weekend getaway. Affordable prices, 2-3 hours drive from delhi. Amicable and courteous staff. Unmatchable taste of food, especially mutton. Salute to owner who made all arrangements to give this place a unique touch.

Very old and heritage property..Around 240 years old. Well maintained..Hotel stuff are very helpful and polite. Owner is very humble and polite. Foods were awesome. Specially Lal Maas and kadi. Morning breakfast could have been better. Should keep some more options. We all felt like staying in a middle of a village with all organic foods and vegetables. Would like to reconreco all that at least one everyone should have the experience to stay. I will give full marks.

One of the most stunning and excellent weekend getaway near Delhi.
I had very less expectations when I heard about this hotel but was pleasantly surprised by a lot of things.
Highlights -
1. Location is away from the busy Alwar town, yet not very far from the city (just about 6-7 kms. 15 mins drive). The hotel sits in the middle of burja village. Surrounded by village life, it gives u a unique flavour.
2. Beautiful Haveli and wonderful decor. Typical Rajasthani look.
3. Staff at the hotel is very kind and supportive. Apparently, most of the employees come from nearby village which is a wonderful initiative.
4. Ambiance is close to nature. You have so many weaver bird nests, peacocks and tress all around the hotel.
5. Facilitates include a big lawn, open gym (basic but nice), small pool, badminton court and some board games.
6. They have a nice bar which will serve you alcohol at a much better price as compared to some of the other places.
7. Food was DELICIOUS. No kidding. Everything we got for dinner (laal maans, burja special paneer, daal makhani, multigrain roti and gulabjaum) and breakfast was finger licking good.
8. Some ladies from village came to cook fresh multigrain chapatis and that too on a wood fired oven. That was excellent.
9. Rooms are basic and comfortable
10. Ample space for parking
11. Rajasthani dance and puppet shows are also arranged depending on occupancy at the hotel and on special requests (costed).

Lowlights -
1. The property needs some bit of cosmetic work (renovation) to attract more visitors. Rooms and bathrooms needs some touch-ups
2. Toiletries and towels need replacement.

It took me just about 3 hours to reach this place from Delhi. One can also take a train from all major train stations in Delhi and Gurgaon to reach Alwar. Travel time by train is about 2.30 to 3.30 hours.

I will 100% visit this place again 😊

Loved the place and liked the people and services.
We arranged the stay of our guest in this Haveli very recently for a marriage. The service provided to the guests was excellent. The management and staff is very cooperative. The food quality was very good and the guests were very happy about their stay in this heritage building. The rooms are nicely maintained and ethnic but with modern facilities. The evening arranged by Burja haveli was a memorable one with the inclusion of folk songs and dances.
Upenderji! keep it up. Nice endeavor.

What an unexpected treat. The history to this place makes it even more special. It’s a family house that is over 215 years old. It has been made in to a heritage hotel by the owner/landlord. All of the friendly staff comes from the local village. A pool, lots of birds, cottages, large hotel rooms, and exquisite food. When you stay here, opt for the breakfast and dinner included option. It will be well worth it. In the evening, you can play badminton, chess, or watch the ladies making the best chapatis ever! Also - the best gulab jamun in my life!!!
