One of the best colleges in india not only academic performance but also in various sports activities at which the college students represent the college at divisional, district, state, national levels. This college is famous for men students NCC unit which is the most top class among other NCC units in tamilnadu colleges. NCC for Women inaugurated some years ago to include women students for the society by eradicating inequality with men. According to me, it is a very good initiative which became the role model for other arts and science colleges in India.
