Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, formerly Marathwada University, is located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It is named after B. R. Ambedkar, an Indian jurist and political leader. The university was established on 23 August 1958.

I used to visit here during my studentship in Saraswati Bhuban Education Society's Arts & Commerce College from where I passed my MA (English) in 2005. It was a long time ago. So, things have changed now. Transports are available from all locations of Aurangabad. The scenic beauty of University campus is very attractive. A lot of memories and emotions during my MA Degree are connected with this place. In those days Education was not so costly. Every year, many students from various locations of India and abroad come to attend their studies.

All departments are located away from each other, with ample place for car parking

Having number of departments of different subjects.nice education.soneri mahel,goga Baba tekadi ,leni and vishweshwar temple are the tourist attractions.in rainy season university area looks very beautiful.

Best place for historical art.. The Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar caves are twelve rock-cut Buddhist shrines located on a hill running roughly east to west, close to the city of C.sambhaji nager Maharashtra. The first reference to the MH-20 Caves is in the great chaitya of Kanheri Caves.
