Ambassador Ajanta Hotel, Aurangabad

Update: The hotel took immediate action on my complaint below and discontinued the services of the man I mentioned below. Thanks so much for understanding and addressing this concern promptly and without hesitation. I feel much better about the whole thing and wouldn't be worried about using the spa now.

I accepted a facial service from a male in the hair salon which turned into him asking if he could add facial serum to my chest, which turned into him rubbing my full breasts for as long as he touched my face - easily 20 minutes or more!! I thought it would be brief as there is trust between spa workers and customers, but it never ended. This man took advantage of that trust. I should have known something was wrong when he asked me to change out of my street clothes into a spa gown when he was only supposed to work on my face. Did he think I would want this because I am a foreign woman? He called this an "Indian facial." He then charged me 4500 rupees for something he seemed to like much more than me!! Do NOT use the spa unless you are assigned a woman worker as a woman or 3rd gender.

Green lush garden, open space all luxury in traditional royal ways Ambassador Ajanta Is surely best place in the City. Helpful and humble staff which takes care of customers well. People go beyond their regular duties to make sure customer's experience is great as I had to travel places and would have lwft hotel without breakfast, Hotel staff packed the breakfast in box from themselves early in the morning which was amazing.

Best place for any medium or big ceremony in the family. We were there to attend a friend's retirement program. The food was very good. Decoration was beautiful. Little bit costly affair, but the celebration has no price. It only has a value.

I loved the experience. The staff is super friendly. The food was amazing as well and the staff is courteous and friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would certainly re book it in the future.

Heritage luxury hotel which is well maintained hotel. The property is massive with a lot of greenery around. I loved their garden. One can just sit and relax in their garden in the morning or take a walk.

The deluxe rooms were nice and big. Breakfast was good. The best part is that the price was affordable. I will recommend this hotel while you are in Aurangabad with family

An old school hotel right in the heart of town means everything here is big. Rooms are twice the size of any room in hotels now-a-days. And the compound is so big, you can walk around all day in it. Very friendly staff and decent restaurants too. All in all a very pleasant experience staying here while exploring Ajanta & Ellora caves.

The Executive Suite we got was spacious with a living room, bedroom, balcony, and a washroom with bathtub.

The property is beautiful,the swimming pool is really good from 3ft to 9ft deep, and a sauna and steam room available for guests free of charge. There's also a full fledged gym, squash court, badminton court, and card room here.

At the restaurant we had a buffet and ala carte as well. Buffet was okay in terms of options but a la carte tastes good. We'd palak paneer and lachcha paratha.

The furniture is a bit dated, maybe because our room as per website is supposed to have antiques, but really it's a good property and very well located. ITC, Ambassador, and Lemon Tree are on the same road. But on this budget, this is by far the best property across many holiday locations I've stayed.

Hotel is nice and clean. Room size was good and bedding, linen were clean. They provided unlimited bottled water free of cost during our 2 nights stay. Room service was also good. We could also do our morning walk in the huge lawn and they also have a nice swimming pool. We had dinner at their basement restaurant and found the food to be tasty and pricing was as per a decent restaurant which was not pricey. Location is right on the Jalna Aurangabad highway and close to Bibi ka maqbara which was 6kms away and the zoo which was 3 kms away. Ellora caves are a 45 minute drive while Deogiri fort was 22 minutes drive. Extremely satisfied with my family stay. They also provided a nice spring bedding for my adult son in the same room.

Amazing property with very spacious and clean rooms. Food is amazing both in room dining and breakfast buffet. Staff is very courteous!

The 4 nights stay was a bliss including the Restaurant services. The Restaurant manager Mr. Prakash and his team are very efficient n friendly and ensure that all the needs of the guests are fulfilled. Thank u for an amazing spread..

Reception staff was very welcoming. Specially Ms. Riiaka was humble and polite and dedicated for her work.

If you want to experience ultimate hospitality please do visit Hotel Ambassador Ajanta the first five star hotel in Aurangabad. It was an outstanding stay of 4 days. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Very polite and supportive staff. Specially mentioning of Mr. Kaduba Yadav from their restaurant. He is simply amazing. It was an absolutely delite to be here. We would love to come back again. Thank you entire team of Hotel Ambassador Ajanta to make our stay so memorable.

The hotel is located in the Cidco area near high court. The location is absolutely prime and it's got it's neighbours as ITC and Lemon Tree. It is an old hotel, recently renovated and as you enter the long winding driveway, it no way gives you the feeling that you're entering a 3 star hotel. It has a huge property with massive lawns on either side and almost all the modern facilities and amenities.
Swimming pool is maintained with steam/ sauna facility. They also have a sports complex equipped with a gym, a spa, a badminton court, a squash court and a table tennis table. The property is well maintained.
Rooms are large and kept very tidy. Minus the pompous luxury of a 5 star hotel, this place has everything to offer. It's a great stay option if visiting Aurangabad and you don't want to spend heavily for stay. It gives you a 5 star feel in a 3 star hotel budget.
Ellora Caves is about 1 hour drive and Ajanta will take 2 hours from here. Since, it is centrally located, you are close to other main areas and sight seeing spots as well like Bibi ka Maqbara and Gul Mandi market.

Loved the resort, kids-friendly with amazing facilities, the rooms were clean and luxurious. Highly recommended! The food over here is good we just had breakfast and a variety of dishes

The staff is amazing. They treat you with respect and ready to do everything to make your stay comfortable.
We have stayed there twice and the experience is fabulous .

The rooms are very good. Service is also good. All veg items are awesome. Non veg are not up to the mark.
