The museum is really neat and clean, is well maintained but the gardens there need to be looked after. There is a kala vatika where various art events are organised such as painting exhibition, book fare, singing and more. I find this very helpful and essential for the growth of Art in the culture. Would suggest everyone to go there. There is a fees for the visit in museum but entry in exhibitions are free.

The place is a worth visit. The entry fee is just 20 for Indian visiters. Inside the museum there is a great collection of sculptures which were found in and nearby jabalpur. There is also a varied collection of coins from the 10th century BC to present. The jewellery of ancient people and dress of the queen can also be seen there.
