Simple, clean, pious, calm temple and the folks are so genuine and courteous. They make you feel at home. Visit them in the morning. If going from Bangalore, let them know in advance.

The temple as it is now, was established in the year 1949 by Sri Venkannaiah. Regular Pooja and annadaana activities are taking place since inception. There is a Dyana Mandira (meditation hall) in the basement of the building adjacent to main temple. There is a Kalyana Mantapa constructed opposite to temple possibly with a view to generate revenue for funding temple activities.

There is also a hostel for poor students which was started in 1966 by Sri Honnappa, the younger brother of Sri Venkannaiah. I was an inmate of this hostel during my 3-year period of High School (1969-72); and I was lucky and fortunate to have been moulded in right direction at that tender age under able guidance of Sri Honnappa for whom I am ever grateful. Presently, all the activities are being looked after and managed by his successor family members through temple trust. Through these initiatives they are doing fantastic service to the society which is very much appreciated.

Overall, this is a must visit place and if you believe in philanthropy and religious activities, pl contribute monetarily to the trust too.

Holey place, you can find a peace of mind. Well maintained clean. There seems to be a issue with parking, you have to park on nearby road. But safe to park as an residential area. Must visited place.
