Firstly - Yes, this is the right location for Dundahera SO Post Office (It's at Gate No. 2).

Next - Contrary to the online reviews, I found these people to be really nice. Here's my whole experience -

My parcel from Los Angeles was coming to India via USPS - Asendia - Indian Post route. The last leg had me worried tbh given the reputation of our POs - so I was constantly tracking the courier.

Today - out of the blue it started showing that the courier has been delivered (that too 2 days ago) - and I obviously never got it, not even a call or a message update.

In my mind, I lost all hope and started thinking - that it's gone. But still I didn't want to give up so easily, so I gave the system a try.

The helpline numbers for India Post were showing non-existent (duh) so I decided that I'll go to the post office - Searched for the last PO the courier was located at - It was Dundahera SO.

Found it on maps - but nearly all the reviews mentioned on google that it's the wrong address - there was no post office there, but luckily some pictures in it showed a PO in Udyog Vihar - so I started digging.

After some research on Maps I found this place which matched the pictures exactly with the ones I saw on Dundahera SO maps page. So I immediately boarded a cab and arrived here.

I was still thinking that I will have to fight my way through with everyone - and still I'd end up empty handed.

But surprisingly the people turned out to be really friendly - Sunil bhai invited me to come sit with him and then he actually sat down with me for literally an hour (with some other officer too) we tracked down my package - talked to the delivery person - talked to his driver - found the exact place and person the courier was delivered to - but...

Unfortunately there was a signature of an unknown person & no contact details there at the end - it was pretty much a dead end.

But now I started gaining confidence on these people that they'll help me find the courier.

They asked me to wait till tomorrow and said that they'll think of a solution - I took a photo of the delivery entry in their docs and came back home.

But I couldn't keep calm, I kept searching for all people with that name around my area & kept checking that delivery entry photo - after talking to 5 wrong ppl with that name, suddenly my eyes went on the delivery entry - the address was wrong. Instead of 1089 (my house number) the courier was delivered to 1098 in the same area (a house just 1 street next to mine).

This was my last hope - I went to this address - it was a nice big PG - asked for the guy called with that name - and VOILA. YES, he had my courier.

I instantly jumped with happiness!! I took it from him - gave him a BIG thanks - turns out he had tried to reach out to me while taking the courier, but for some reason he couldn't (there was his missed call in my phone).

And the big reveal - the wrong delivery was NOT because of the Post Office - the address on the courier itself was wrong.... :|

But well after having all this adventure throughout the day today - I just feel relieved that I got my courier back. And I am thankful to India Post for helping me throughout the way.
It was the seller's fault and I couldn't have done it without them.

Yeah they didn't take the contact number of the person whom it was delivered to - but that error was humane in my eyes, as all other deliveries in that whole page had numbers.

So forgetting that - I'd just say that these guys are really good people - and if you approach them with an open heart and respect - they WILL help you out.

The post office at South City 2 Server is down for last six days. So no work is being entertained. Poor customer will be penalised for last submission of funds in RD a/c.

I heard a lot of missing parcel comments all across the web by many users although I was assisted by beeku kumar and other staff who were very much helpfull and very already working when I entered despite the strike that was going on.

I went to enquire about revenue stamps. The staff was friendly and proactively told me to visit post offices in Delhi for the same or to the nearby city court or notary offices.

I want to know that in this post office, have the aadhar card center ?

I went for the first time with 3 cartoons of home stuff to be parceled to my home. I never did use this service so I just packed those boxes and took them straight to post office. I did reach 5 mins before the closing time. '

Few things to note while taking any package for parcel service:

The box should be packed well.

A paper with "to" and "From" address written in big and BOLD letters( so it is legible) should either be pasted like you paste a poster on a wall (completely glued) or by using a clear tape so that its covering the whole address sheet. The cartoon is tossed so many times that if the label is not properly pasted then it may come off and your consignment is lost.

If the package is above 20Kgs, you will have to use speed post service and you cannot use parcel service which is way cheaper.

There is specific box size also which also determines if it can be transported through parcel or speed post.

Always carry extra cash

Always consider giving extra time and don't arrive at the last minute.

My review:
I didn't follow any of the above, so the lady sitting in the counter when I did reach at 12.55 pm (1 pm is closing for Saturday) she was like where is the address label, size of one box is too long and stuff, 1 pm is closing time.

Then there was one of his colleague ( I think he was post master) who told that get a tape and I will give you the paper with 15 mins extension (it was 1.06pm then). I somehow got a tape from the security guy, that male employee gave me three sheets I wrote the address and pasted the sheets as neatly as I could.

The lady was getting restless which makes sense, but now the amount billed was way more than expected and I did not have enough cash so the Post officer was like we deal only with cash, go to the ATM in next block and get it.

I went there, got cash and then my job was done at around 1.45 pm. I was there for 45 mins beyond closing time which was a surprise for me, I had already made up my mind that my cartoons will not be mailed today but am glad that with lot of hiccups I was finally able to book those. I am thankful to all employees of that post office who were patient, understanding and helpful including the security guy who provided me with a tape.

Mostly which you get in other general post office as Haryana government not allow them to hold a rupee revenue stamp

Staff is not good as much as I expected​

One of the worst post office that i have ever seen and been. The staff who checks the parcel delivery is very rude and unprofessional.
When I went out there to parcel my stuff he denied as it was above 15kg so again i came the next day to parcel with more small parcels but again he denied to parcel more than 2 box and by requesting he did 3 boxes and told me to come another day to parcel the rest.
Later on i came to know that there is no such rules that the parcel should be less than 15 kg and he lied that only 2 or 3 parcel can be done per day.
He was just giving me trouble and the way he communicated was so rude that even if I ask him one question he wouldn't reply properly and just ignore.
I request for this types of employees the Govt should take strick action.
