Hotel Sun Ray Homes

We stayed here for 3 days, Here is my detailed review.
Pros :- 1. Property location is amazing, every place is nearby like cellular jail, marina park, flag point and Saturated&Sunday local market.
2. See view room on the fourth floor gives incredible view.
3. Place is quiet,cozy and feels homely.
4. Owner is a friendly person.

Cons:- Only shortcoming about the place is not having a lift.

Our experience of the room we had originally booked at a different hotel was not great, so we came to Sun Ray Homes looking for an alternative. We found it to provide better value for the same price.
Within a few hours of reaching, we decided to stay here on our way to and from Havelock Is.
It's a great location - beautiful view overlooking Aberdeen Jetty, close to the bazaar, with shops and eateries close by.
A pleasant, warm and friendly place with a great view is what you can expect.

Sunray homestay is absolutely amazing! 🌞 The rooftop area offers breathtaking views of the sea, and the rooms with sea views are simply stunning. Plus, being in the middle of the market area and close to all the tourist spots is so convenient. It's definitely a nice place to stay. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was very satisfied with our stay here. It is a homestay but the experience was much better than a hotel. The host were wonderful and accommodated our requirements best way. We wanted to have access to kitchen for our food requirement and a room with good sea view. They satisfied both by giving best room at reasonable price. I had first booked a room in hotel Bluebridge which is adjacent to this but does not have that many rooms with good views and furniture condition. I stayed there for a day and requested the owner to give better room but was not given any consideration. Then I saw that the sunray homes had way better room conditions and views with ample sunshine etc and at better rates. So for my next 2 days I booked the rooms here. I was satisfied with every aspect, furniture, view, services etc. The owners and attendants(vishwajeet) were very nice. The location is also very good.

Wonderful homestay, staff prompt and cooperative. Yes you might find have to put a bit effort to find out food, however they provide you with a menu card from nearby hotels which provide very prompt service. The owner is a wonderful host. Yes room 202, has a great picturesque view.

Hotel sun ray homes located on prime location. For tourists it is very convenient for visiting nearby attractions and restaurants. Rooms are neat and clean.staff is polite and helpful. Views from room no 202 is mind blowing.......... We stayed there for 5 days. We like this place too much.......

Really great place and hosts. They were able accomodate our food requests. The rooms are fantastic and views are good over looking the bay. There is no lift, but there is help to carry your luggage. It's closer to all the restaurants and other city attractions. There is a auto or cab stand near by.

It is a wonderful place to stay! The staff are most helpful. Location is also quite nice and the view from the balcony is pristine. Would highly recommend for anybody staying in Port Blair.

The staff will make you feel cared from the moment you set foot . They were informative, prepared us early breakfast, showed us places and things to do, gave us excellent tips for food nearby, and renting a scooter was fairly easy because of them. Breakfast was served in the room .Being located at the center ,everything was nearby, would definitely recommend . There was a terrace ,with open area .

We have stayed for 2night at Hotel Sun Ray Homes. Ramesh from owner side is super helpful, in a single call he provided us Scotty at Hotel and arrange cab to airport to hotel and hotel to airport.

Location of this homes is near to stadium,so all local food shops and beach side road is just 1min away.

Rooms are well maintained and clean, services was fast and location is proper and view from the room which in our case we had top floor is amezing. You will get 180 degree view starting from Flag Point.

I stayed there for 4 days during our Andaman Trip in 2023. We are very satisfied with the stay. Rooms, bathrooms, bed and all furniture are well maintained and almost in new conditions. As this is a homestay there is no restaurant inside the premises. But there are few restaurant from where you can take food delivery in your room. You can use food delivery app as well. Location wise it is in very prime location. It's 2-3 min walk from Aberdeen Bazar clock tower.

Rooms are very nice but the view from the top floor is worth watching that you won't feel like staying in the room. Service is also too good. I will recommend anyone planning a trip on Port Blair.

Stayed at the homestay for 2 nights. Had a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, clean and had an excellent view of the sea and the Ross Island. The staff, Biswajit, was extremely helpful and cooperative. It was an extremely pleasant stay and would recommend the place.

Hotel is situated at best location where every things are nearby. U can have the sea view from balcony and perfect sun rise from the terrace. Also, the owner is a gentleman and friendly.

Great homely place to stay and highly helpful owners. Very near to the main market and many sight seeing places. Very easy to commute. Many restaurants near by. View of the sea and Ross island is mesmerizing. A must stay place in port blair.

Rooms are well maintained and service is theor top priority.
Market and Cellular Jail are at walking distances. Highly recommended.

This place is a very good offering. Placed in the midst of the city location and everything you seek is just a walking distance away from the property.

This is a good stay option in the market area. All the good restaurants, main attractions are nearby. The rooms are clean and offer a great view of the ocean.
