Good rooms at a good price. Staff is always kind and helpful. Lalu the manager of the top floor restaurant is very friendly and great tasting food always comes out of the kitchen. I recommend anyone stay here when visiting and checking out the restaurant.

Hotel shompen is a good place to stay and in an affordable range. The rooms were clean. Location is also good , you can find 2-3 good restaurants at walkable distance. Staff was also helpful and cooperative, you can get early check in as well if you have a morning flight. We checked out early in the morning at 5:30 am. They gave us packed breakfast as well. Overall it was good , I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a clean, friendly, and well-located hotel.

Amazing food, we stayed for 2 times while going to have lock and while returning. The services are amazing. Great food, great staff. Reception we had Dilip Ji, Vivek and Sanjeet. Lovely people in the Restaurant on the top. Good staff while service at the restaurant and in the room also. Shiny didi at the conservancy staff. Overall a five star service. Can't expect better in such a beautiful place. Biggest advantage was city view and the middle point, close to everything. Loved it. Will visit again.

Location wise, deserves 5 stars. Near the center of the city. Has 2-3 good restaurants near by.
Service wise, again 5 stars. The staff are all very cooperative.
Has a restaurant which serves really good food and breakfast. 5 stars for that too.
Room which was allotted to us was very spacious and clean. They really keep the hotel very clean.

Overall, an excellent hotel.
Special mention for Mr. Sanjit, who made our trip very enjoyable and successful. He was extremely helpful and courteous. Handled all our logistics all across the 3 islands, Andaman, Shaheed and Swaraj dweep.

A perfect place to stay in center of portblair, hotel tariffs are reasonable, only lack point is restaurant service for ala carte. The unusual delay in serving the food at restaurant is quite annoying.
