Ordered so many cakes from this place and I am always satisfied with the taste and presentation. Loved the sugar free biscuit cake and also the salted caramel chocolate cake I ordered recently. So many options available and also you can customise your cake according to your preferences. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing place tucked away from the main road. Tried the strawberry cakes... couldn't stop eating. The ambience is cozy, warm, and personal. Great job by a well qualified pastry chef. Strongly recommended for great quality food!!!

This little bistro out of their home is a home run! Food is fresh and not in mass commercial scale so the quality and taste is praiseworthy. It has a cosy little up do and at a prime location. The owner is a wonderful person and she made us feel so welcomed that we had more cups of coffee than we planned. Please take time to visit once. 🙂

I've known Monmie for a very long time and she's been baking cakes for even longer. Every time I have had a cake from her to celebrate family birthdays, anniversaries and other events, I've never been disappointed. I have a particular weakness for all of her old school cakes which she tops off with buttercream icing. Her savoury works are very good too.

DELECTABLE- everything that comes out from the oven of Gateaux Yamie! Flavoursome cakes, pastries and savouries are a treat for the taste buds. The strawberry cupcake, chocolate ganache cake, coffee chocolate icing cake and shortbread are some of my favourites! If one prefers taste over anything else then Gateaux Yamie is the go to bakery!

Had to place a last minute order for a birthday cake. Monmie was kind enough to acknowledge my request on such a short notice. And needless to mention, the cake was super yummy! :)

I was lucky enough to have been a part of Monmie's venture at an early stage, mostly to eat, in fact only to eat :) If there is someone who can bake it's this lady. So get your hands together, shut your eyes and dive right into one of those amazing treats coming out of her oven. Your the best Monz. Keep going.

It is one of the best patisserie in Guwahati. I was so oblivious about fondant cakes in Guwahati but Gâteauxyamie proved me wrong. The fondant was hand made upto perfection, the cake was even better, so soft and moist and the detailing was customized according to how i wanted it to be. So I would highly suggest you Gâteauxyamie if you're in Guwahati and you're into fondant cake, go visit Gâteauxyamie.

Great cakes, amazing designs. After trying a few personally, i could not stop myself from following them on insta to get the updates on their new designs, patterns and flavours. Literally feel like stalking them for their amazing stuffs.

Got to taste the cup cakes recently at a family function...the best part...the cakes were fluffy and soft even though these were collected a day before...even the aroma was intact...wonderful work done by a passionate baker and I definitely recommend a go ahead for its products...

My personal favorite... Monmie Baruah has magic in her hands. Personal recommendation is coffee flavour with coffee ganache.
